Frage zum Schwerpunkt / Question about the balance
Hat die Maschine schon mal jemand out of the box geflogen? Klappt das?
Hab gelesen, dass der schwerpunkt 29cm hinter der Stinnerspitze liegt. Das klappt ohne Akku super, aber nicht mit.
Did anybody trie to flight the airplain out of the box? Is it working?
I ask due to the balance. Balance point should be 29 cm behind the top of the spinner. That fits without the accu perfect but not with the accu installed.

Have a look in the spare parts section. I've seen some of them around. Mostly props, tail fins and cones, but yes there are some of them. By the way, this is EPP plane with very easy fixing if you don't crash hard. I bought mine a while ago and it is still fly even with some scratches and dents. I also tried with a 4S lipo, and guess what, it's just amazing how the engine works now (Make some tests before with your motor, some ESC's and motor mounted on this plane won't do it safe) *-)
nice looking model! but i´*m a bit concerned about the stability of the main landing gear. in the video you can se the left one beeing screwed right at the first crosswind landing though it was performed quite smooth...
Sure, it is originally equipped with the hexTronik DT750 Brushless Outrunner 750kv.
I have this plane too and have checked the motor type in case I need to replace it.

It's derpon-like material, CA glue doesnt work, it just melts the plane, So Foam-safe stuff are needed.
Strength wise you can compare it to balsa, It wont survive mid and hard crashes
I wouldnt recommend that plane as a novice-plane. It might fly nice but its made out of such material that you are guaranteed to have repairs after minor and hard crashes
I bought this product for my first kid wich has it's birthday last week. I ordered it with 2 other planes and 4 batteries for a sum amount of more than 380 $. I live in france and supposed that would come fast as comments where saying. But i did not considered the fact that HK is taking it's time to check and balance payments. It took just a full week to do. And guess what ?! Because it's oversized package, they are asking me about 14$ more for sending two packages instead of one... My feeling is that DE Warehouse is useless. Whatsoever, it would take the same time for delivery, and price would be around the same in transportation and delays...
Guess what. This was my first try and a long time ago. Now, i have much more confidence with it but thanks for your advice. It's sad that for the first time i was using this service, it failed. But they really improved it, so i change my advice regarding them. Buy with confidence and you will be delivered much faster than i experienced then...

I don't get the spinner off, what should I do?
Where can I get new 4blade propellers?

Put small knife between spinner two yellow pease and twist by holding inner yellow pease. I used standard two blade propeller to fly, can make it faster that way.
There is a supplier in England, but shipment is 11pounds! So hardly worth it.
I strongly suggest you change to a 2 blade prop- I did and what a difference! Much faster! Just break the old prop off or melt it off with a soldering iron. Then put a 10x7 2 blade on it. Flies great! And then you'll never have the problem of trying to find a prop again, plenty of 2 bladers around for sure!
4 Blatt Propeller gibt es bei Hobbyking aus Hong Kong. Bestelle 4 Stck a je 2 Propeller mit Spinner. Damit bleibst du knapp unter den 22 Euro und musst keine Mrchensteuer bezahlen. Evt. musst das Paket beim Zoll abholen. Kommt dich dann auf ca. 26 - 28 Euro fr 8 Propeller und 4 Spinner, gnstiger geht es nicht mehr. Wenn du gut fliegst, kannst ja welche bei Ebay verscherbeln, in BRD scheint es derzeit nirgends diese Propeller zu geben.
What's the max size of lipos that can used? I have some polyquest xp 1300 with 95 x 30 x 16 mm. Can i use them? Btw. it is possible to make an another hatch or to fit the lipo in another place?
i use 1300 mah turnigy akkus whith about 71 mm. the plane has enough place for bigger akkus. the problem is, that the akku compartment is very small. otherwise you have to make some modifications to the compartment, or unscrew the mainwing and put the akku under the canopy.
I made hole from main forward battery place to back over the wing with little bit of balsa. Now I have to remove the wing to fly with bigger battery. But with standard 1300 mAh flight time is about 5-10 min so long enough for me.
thats the german warehouse. if you order the plane from the german warehouse and live in german or any other coutry in the european union, it is a bit more expensive, but you dont have to pay taxes. In germany you have to pay 19% taxes when the total cost including shippment is more then 22 euros.
I have had great experience with the German wharehouse. I am in Germany so it is actually CHEAPER to buy from the DE wharehouse . Even thought the price is more- the shipping is much much less! ca.30 $ to ship to Germany from HongKong. So the final price is cheaper than ordering from HongKong. Also the bastard gestapo "Zollamt"(customs) here holds it til you pay again! So for Germany this is definately the only way to go.
I'd like to know witch motor sould I use to upgrade.

Ebenfalls in der Anleitung zu finden ist die Lage des Schwerpunktes! Dort angegeben mit 10,5 inch = 26,67 cm bis 11,5 inch = 29,21 cm gemessen von der Spitze des Spinners nach hinten!

This is an amazing airplane. It flies fast, yet very cotrollable. It is my first rc plane after i had some experience with (electric powered) gliders. I was amazed by the simple setup. I plugged in a turnigy 3s 2200 pack with the stock esc and brushless and was able to make my maiden in less than an hour. Allthough not yet very skilled in rc planes, i could land it easily. It has a slight tence to go nose down once landed (give slight up)

Ich fliege sie mit 1500 weil ich die noch hatte habe mir jetzt auch neue gekauft 1600 dann werden die das sein. Flugzeiten 10 Minuten mindestens, habe noch keinen leergeflogen da sie sich ohne Antrieb nur recht tricky fliegen und steuen lt! Also lieber immer etwas Sprit im Tank :-). Allerdings passen die Akkus dann nicht in den vorgesehenen Schacht! Ich lege sie von der Tragflche aus nach vorn gesehen ein dort ist ein Spalt da passen die rein!
