il se vis en lieu et place de la bougie et garde le piston au poin mort bas pour permettre de visser ou devisser le volant moteur, l ambrayage ou tout ce qui se monte en sortie du vilbrequin
sorry but y can explain it in English
Mark as a mechanic I agree with you but I think this tool is not for lock the crank, instead I think is great for discover where the maximum stroke of the piston is reached. However for making works on the engine where the crank is not to be forced it may work (by example stopping the piston while setting up the valves of a 4S Glow engine)
I have used another brand for 25 years to lock engine for installing clutches on heli's and props on planes. Never had a problem with it. Like all tools you must use it with respect and know when to quit tightening. I have never damaged a piston yet and have took many heads off to see. When it comes in I am going to order one. Looks like possible nylon tip andd mine is aluminum. Also I paid $30 US Dollars 25 years ago. Really good value for money. WAy to go HK
HaHa Reminds me of hollywood court case where one expert says he dun it and the other expert says he didn't dun it. Just like here, one expert says for gas and the other says its for glow! So, what is the final conclusion? Gas OR Glow? Or Both?
