Hi guy, no this will not fit the Solo Pro 100 3D. This tail is so small and weak for a the 100 3D. You will need to buy the stock one for the Solo 100.
HobbyKing stock Solo Pro parts (a lot of them) once in a while - it can take some time until it is stocked again. If you are grounded, don't wait, just buy it from somewhere else...
If you are like me and fly more in circles that goes right, wich will use the tail mortar more then if you fly in left circles. If you fly in left circles the motor will release throttle wich will result in less usement of the tail engine.
Dear, buddhi prasanna don't fly more then 2 batteries and you will have no any problem with tail motor! i use Solo Pro about 1,5 years without motor changes. Also i can recommend you make tail more longest than now (about 2 centimetres). Its will reduce workload for motor.
Dear prasanna buddhi, do not force too much your nine, fly up to a maximum of two batteries in a row. To avoid burning your engine with spray drops and short, stick a small foam surrounding the tail motor and protecting the wires. (Ismael Serejo - Brazil)
I very enjoy my solo pro and when i need to replaced the tail/main motor it's look like i push the end of it,so with a great smile i order a few spare motors and other parts.
This shaft is about 110mm x 1.5mm (square) and will not fit the Solo Pro 100 3G. The Solo Pro 100 3G tail shaft is 140mm x 2mm (square) and is mounted at 45 degree tilt.
I did replace a broken tail motor, using a main motor for an old PicoZ helicopter. It does need 2mm shrink tube and a little work on soldering ... it is not complicated. If you find a good motor maybe is also a better option. Look on eBay for 6mm coreless motor. But as stated above is faster and cost very little to just order a new tail set and go with a plug and play solution
This would not be an easy task, and probably not worth while given that the whole tail assembly is less than $4.00. The wires run through the boom, however if your good with soldering you could do it.
Yes you can, but you definitely need a longer tail boom -since this motor has a little less thrust (ca.80pcnt of the stock mSR).
Hope this helped.
Bests,
Nader.
You can use the motor. But some on the forums say it's a little less powerful than the mSR's tail motor.
The boom on the Solo Pro is square, not round like the mSR. So it will not be a direct fit. Sorry.
Blade MCP-X uses a round tail boom. The Solo Pro FP II Tail Set is square. So it will not fit. Diameter of the MCP-X tail boom is 2mm. You can find replacement CF tubes, solid or hollow. Some people use the TREX 250 tail boom support and mod it to fit the MCP-X. Usually extending the length a bit from stock for better performance.
Hi man, I´m take a look in some photos of trex100,( I have a nine eagle heli), and i think that this solo pro tail set, can be use in your trex100, in my point of view, there aren´t any problem, and besides, you will pay less than U$$ 4.00 . Try this , and have a good fly.

The 2 wires connected to the motor disconnected after a crash. on the tail set I bought i used a short tutorial I found on youtube to tape the qires to the rotor and thus prevent them from disconnecting.
The tail wire can come loose as it is pressed into the shaft with the square tube tail assembly. Watch that with the replacement, otherwise great spare that you can hope you never need.
