where shaft is inserted from manufacturer, 2.3 or 3mm shaft? What is the diameter of the engine on shafts side, 18mm or?

My Turnigy 2610 is fitted with 3mm shaft as delivered. There are two additional shafts packed with engine, one 3mm diameter with flat cut 5mm long at the end next is one 3mm reduced to 2,3 mm on one end. The diameter of the engine on shaft side is 20mm.

5 blade will keep amps down.

On 3s, 30A ESC.

Since load current is 22.7A, don't use anything less than that so as Jason said, 3S-30A should do the job

nearly same performance as 2810-version: reduced diameter (in order to run in a 28mm hull ?) compensated by increased can length

What are you using for screws & does HC sell them, I know they are 2.6mm but here they are $6.00 for four

Combined with blue EDF 64mm sold here gives:

21.5 amps 515g with 2200 3s1p20c battery.

Ran it WOT 30 seconds static on a 22 degree celcius day and it was warm to touch after turning it off for 10 seconds. Not bad at all - also motor weighs 53g and combined with the EDF set is about 77 - 82g depending on your impeller.

Don't get caught with the mounting of these units,the one I received has 2.5 mounting holes, very fustrating, This is a size I find hard to get,HK QA is pathetic.!

Type your review here. I use this in a pusher configuration with a 4-3 prop and 3 cell in a VQ Delta Rocket plane. It goes straight up it so must be over 150 watts WOT. The motor does not get hot. Its is hanging out in the airstream. I used a Rhino 1350 30C. The prop speed is almost 100mph. The plane seems to fly about 80. This is a pretty powerful motor for its size, and swings the 4-3 with ease on 3 cells.

Nicely finished and leightweight motor - kv is accurate and motor is very light but powerful - great for those edf models
