hi everyone i have just brought this battery and a HobbyKing 50watt 5A X-Charger/Balancer how do i connect this battery to charge it, as when i plug just the charge lead in and try to charge it says broken connection... thanks guys and by the way im new to all this hahaha
You need to connect the main plug as well as the balance plug. It says broken connection because you have not connected main plug. I had same problem when I started charging batteries with new charger.
yes it does i also use it in the cx2 ive the upgrade motors & all the alloy extras this works much better than the stock battery imho .i also use one to power my hornet osd 600mw fpv tx & camera in my clouds fly wayneuk on youtube..
Hi there, can anyone tell me if I can charge a Turnigy 800mAh 2S 20C Long Lipo Pack with my JR Rx charger and a Female Molex 1.25 to Male JR Servo Extension lead?
I have question about capacity. This battery has 800mAh capacity. So is this number means that each cell has 800mAh capacity? Or it is total capacity 1 cell = 400mAH. 2 cells = 800mAh ?
I should have stated "ripcurls answer is correct, others are wrong". The order of the answers changed. Each cell is 800mah 3.7v. Connecting in series results in 800mah 7.4v.
You want the T800.2S.20 it's a different shape to the long lipo. You will need a LIPO charger to charge it, you will find one in the battery chargers and accessories section.
I am using this one to charge everything from my 1C UM batteries (with extra cable) up to my 1M Mustangs 3 cell 1800's with no problems. Easy to read display, easy to use. ID 11444:Turnigy A-6-10 200W Balance charger & discharger.
Hey how is this lipo pack compared to Tgy Nano-tech 850mah 7.4V 25c (HK Product ID: N850.2s.25)? Have anyone bought both and noted the diffs between the 2 packs?
flight times will be near exactly the same. the nano has a differant charge rate and the dimensions are slightly differant. If size matters check the #'S I personaly love this battery and have 4 of them, each with a min. of 50 charge cycles and they are still going strong and balance beautifully
about 5 minutes if on full load all the time (also servos). This is not realistic, in real life it will last much longer but i depends on your flight style a lot. (could be double easy)
This battery will give you 16A (20C at 800mAh).
Flight time will decrease if you fly full throttle.
Flight time will decrease slightly if you use your servos a lot.
FLight time is best established with trials.
Approx. 7A at full throttle, and with a large safety margin add 1A for everything else. so, its 8A total, that would give some 12minutes.

Perfect CX2 battery, a little bit of a tight fit but nothing that is unmanageable. Blows away the stock battery, another HK homerun ! ! Hey Jason, when are you gonna start making CX2/3 alluminum hop-up parts ? ? ?
I just received two and am concerned about the cells.
When I discharged them * 1A the cell voltages were 3.5 and 2.5 on both packs using a Turnigy Accucel 6.
Should I be worried and/or start trying to get them replaced (or can is it even worth my while to try?)
At this price, I would not try to ship them back as it would cost more then buying a new one. You might have a bad one, it does happen from time to time. Try balancing the battery with your charger and if it fails. Just get rid of it. You don't want a bad battery in plane or helo.
Awesome battery, I would give this 6 stars if I could. This delivers much more power than the stock E-Flite battery. I use approx 25pcnt less throttle to hover with this battery and have much greater climbout speed, barely warm after run, whereas the E-Flite battery gets very warm after run. Run time is comparable to the E-Flite one as they are both rated as 800. In terms of size, i would say this is about 5mm longer than the stock E-Flite battery but that may be attributed to the foam protection at both ends of the pack. Will be purchasing more of this in my next order, very recommended for BCX flyers.

2 thumbs up!
oh yea, just to add, the battery charge and balance leads are very long on this battery, comparable to other larger battery's lengths, could be both good or bad, but in my case, its not too big a deal, but might need to consider if you are short on space. It is slightly heavier than the stock E-Flite due to more shrink wrap, bigger sticker, longer leads and foam protection, but its negligable, about ~5-8g difference.
