Futaba's new 10CHG Transmitter comes with a comes with an 8 channel R6014HS FAAST receiver. The new reciever allows you to switch from normal to high speed mode. High speed mode sets channels 1 through 6 (digital servos only) at a higher frame rate of 7ms compared to 14ms which will increase the response time.
Features:
New Futaba's FASST (Futaba Advanced Spread Spectrum Technology) shifts very quickly virtually eliminating signal conflicts andinterruptions unlike other 2.4GHz systems that only stay on one or two frequencies. Dual antenna diversity enables FASST system to automatically and seamlessly select the best reception between the two antennas built into the receiver ensuring that the aircraft stays under constant control of transmitter regardless of altitude. hola Captain_Ali el modo 2 es el modelo europeo, se diferencia del modo 1 por llevar el acelerador cambiado a la mano derecha, por lo demas creo que no tiene mas diferencias .
am doing a project on
"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnNHMw9QrVY"
in this you need to control 4 dc motors and 4 servo motors independently ! at times we use them together so can i use a 9-10channel transmitter to control 8 motors
independently ?
i am doing it for my college project so please reply assp !! URGENT !
I found the battery pack but HK has none :-(
2nd question - the battery lead is a J connector, I see in the battery compartment that there are 2 pair of connectors, which pair does the battery lead connect to?
Thanks
Yes. While this radio has the setting factory default on Mode 1 (throttle on right...), you can change this by going to TX SETTING menu, and changing the STK Mode from 1 to 2.. and this will change the stick control behavior to Mode 2.. also you need to adjust the mechanical spring and ratchet adjustments, which are easy to do. Hope this helps.
Hi there , can you use any other Rx with this radio, and how you change the setting please.. I have a 7c Tx with a few R617FS fasst Receivers –* do they work with this radio if I upgrade the radio - thanks?
They should.. but, as always, changing from one TX to another with same radio brand and signal protocol (e.g., Futaba FASST) rebinding will be needed. Hope this helps.
Hi, please can someone tell me how many rotary knobs (ones that you can use for flaps ect NOT for trimming ect) and 3 position switchs this radio has? Cheers Corey
there are 2 , 1 on each side . Im guessing thats what your asking. There is also i small joy stik on the right ,that is kinda cool my friend has this and loves it , if i had the moey i would buy one. THE BEST
i am a bit confused? the picture shows 14 channel receiver, part number you describe says R6014HS- (14 channel ) but you say it is an 8 channel receiver... please advise me asap as i wish to buy if it is a 14 channel receiver.. can anyone please help me? Thanks
I think this is a bit pricy. Espeically when there is shipping on top of this. I can get it at a local Canadian Hobby store for CAD$689.00*******hobbyhobby****/store/product/255242 /10CA-R6014FS-Air-FASST-2.4GHz-No-Servos-Mode-2/
Got mine in Mode1. Just moved two levers and a spring over. Moved tension spring and did software mode setting. Done in 15 minutes. Very happy I didnt have to return it to Taiwan!
Is it posible to get this model Futaba 10CHG in (mode 2) and will you get small receivers with full range

Think they could also at least supply the charger. Also would prefer the airplane model although it does not really matter. Have seen this radio for $525 and although shipping was slightly more it still worked out less than HK. Of course the price war button does not deliver any results.

This is the best transmitter of all Futaba transmitters. It offers all you need for flying fixed wing aircrafts or helicopters. Very intuitive menue structure. Easy and fast to programm. Battery capacity is very good and lasts for several days. I first had a T14 but now I have only this transmitter. It is the best value transmitter of futaba!
