Quanum 2.4Ghz Telemetry System (Volt/Amp/Temp/mAh) V3.0

Quanum 2.4Ghz Telemetry System (Volt/Amp/Temp/mAh) V3.0
Quanum 2.4Ghz Telemetry System (Volt/Amp/Temp/mAh) V3.0

The Quanum telemetry system gives real-time and accurate voltage, current, mAh and temperature display plus low voltage warnings via a robust 2.4Ghz DSSS connection.
The receiver pannel is a large 132x64 LCD and attaches directly to your existing radio's antenna for convenient at-a-glance in-flight status checks.

The Quanum Telemetry system will also warn you when your battery pack is approaching 3.2v per cell with a variable audio tone. No more deadstick landings!
And because it's 2.4Ghz DSSS it wont interfere with your existing system, no matter what channel you're on!

The Quanum Telemetry system transmits a narrow, lightweight signal 4 times a second and uses DSSS technology to ensure no conflicts with other systems close by. Included is an inbuilt 450mAh Li-ion power source and a convenient in-car and PC USB charge jack!

No it can't. Perhaps you should try a magnifying sheet. It is like a flat magnifying glass. Google it. I think they cost like $5

Well... In firmware, the "adjustable low voltage alarm" solves the "beeps all the time" problem. Both the pack and per cell voltage alarm points are adjustable - the ofending item is that the "pack" default is around 19.x volts - probably set for 6-cell - and does not automatically adjust based on the 3/4/5/6 cell pack you attach. Their bad, not yours or mine. Perhaps they will revise the f/w. My unit arrived after a several month wait(!), and came "from" a "repair" center - making me wonder if it was a return/recondition - however it seems to work. The only question of course is the amount of crash landing problems we'll encounter due to the TX in the plane possibly causing problems with the RX in the plane. So far, we only have very rudimentary ground tests. (Bind, monitor. ....) - Will post more info as we try control of the plane while the TX is active.

Quanum 2.4Ghz Telemetry System interferes with 72

12 thumbs up!
Hi, bought this set. Transmitter worked 3 times, then it did not link again and interfered into my Spectrum system and nearly crashed my plane. When it works, its great, when it stopps working, its dangerous and expensive if your plane crashes to bits. Also the receiver buttons are not working properly. They jammed regulary until I opened the receiver and found out that the buttons were not cut properly out of the molding. Sending back the transmitter to China will take months.

I was able to make one flight with the Quanum Telemetry System, well almost! Using a Futaba 6EX 2.4 ghz transmitter and a ORANGE FASST Receiver, the Telemetry seemed to function quite well. After about 6 minutes of flight with a PT-19 63" wingspan, a Monster 46 motor, 50 amp ESC, and a 14.8v 2650mah BlueLipo battery, something went horribly wrong! I was able to do loops and rolls without issue, then the plane just spiraled into a cotton field. The Quanum transmitter survived the crash, the plane did not! The Orange Receiver seems to have an issue with the Quanum transmitter, I have not yet tested it with a Futaba Receiver. Other than that the Quanum seems a very nice system but maybe with a different Frequency Radio system.
