I would change the connector on your RC to 5.5mm Bullet connectors that HK sells. The stock RC connectors are usually not the best design and can heat up and damage your RC. 5.5mm Bullets are the way to go. Especially for today high amp RC's!!!

What type of connector go in my rc for fit to the stock connector on this battery? Thank
 Tobias 6 points
as usual they come with 5.5mm Bullet Connectors. But I would change them anyway as the used stock connectors are not of best quality and also soldering is usually not the best either!

but its not only the type of connectors but also the soldering, and thats usually not the best on Hobbyking batteries. Beside that they are great in my opinion. So I'd recommend to everyone at least to resolder the stock 5.5mm connectors on the batteries!
 Troy 1 points
I find the best connectors are 5.5mm bullets you will have less resistance therefore less heat and more life out of your equipment.

Can you change the bullet connectors for dean connectors
 JABodies 14 points
Yes you can change the connectors to Deans, just make sure you have a good soldering iron due to the thickness of the wires.
 MTA-4 87 points
I would leave the bullet connectors on and change your ESC to suit as this battery will pump out more than enough power to melt deans plugs.
 Denise 1 points
yes, you can get adapters off ebay.
 Luke 5 points
yes, easily
 John 5 points
The thickness of the wires are very problematic when soldering to deans. I feel the wires on these are way overkill. If your drawing enough amps to melt a deans, you'll be melting other things also.
 Andre 6 points
Yes you can, but caution when cut the cables, cut one and after the other.

Do I need to load the batterie when i got them?
 Netvyper 1 points
They will be partially charged, I would recommend that you charge them before using them.
 MAFONI 152 points
Yes, it is always advisable to an initial load balancing and before first use.
 Deathman 9 points
You have to BALANCE them before you use it first.
 hearmyslash 1 points
yes you will have to. Just make sure you load/charge it with the right charger and if possible balance them on 1st lode/charge its best if you balance them
 ben somes 35 points
Yea balance the cells because sometimes there faulty or alittle lower and then your just gonna wreck one of the cells or so.
 Jared 1 points
Lipo packs NEVER come to you charged. ALWAYS balance charge lipo batteries to extend their life. Lipos can be charged with out balancing, but like i said i balance charge EVERY time to extend the life period of the packs. Each cell should be right around 3.85-3.87 when you recieve them. NEVER discharge a lipo battery below 3.2v per cell.

When will these be in stock again? I really want to get a couple of them.
 fathead431 575 points
new stock seems to arrive every 2 weeks.
 Tiago 27 points
Very nice batteries WHEN it does not get with one cell at 0.0v and puffed. Waranty in this case is not worthy because of the shipping price
 George 6 points
1, the quality control seems to be diminishing lately. First bad pack out of 15 I have though.
 Brandon 4 points
the best thing to do is order it. you can always cancel a back ordered item. I ordered a charger on 5/18/2011 (back ordered) and it showed up today 5/25/2011.
 Miguel 9 points
Just set it up to receive an email when they get them in stock, easy!

Is this the same as the Zippy Flightmax 5000mh 40C 2S1P pack? Specs are identical, except for the shrinkwrap and plug.
 gt403cyl 13 points
yes I believe they are the same I have both batteries and they are identicle
 Miguel 9 points
no, the manufacturers are different, therefore different batteries, do not mix them up if thats what you are trying to do, also Turnigy provides a lot more punch, I have both , thumbs up for Turnigy!
 dean 1 points
does this work for the Traxxas Summit and Stampede?
 Denise 1 points
No, different manufactures which mean different build quality, 'Turnigy' is a much better brand than 'Flightmax', i recommend Turnigy

 gt403cyl 13 points

Got 2 of these, both DOA with one cell at 0V. Not recommended.

3 thumbs up!
Fits nicely into 1:10 PE Slash 4x4. A bit of dremeling and the wires are not a problem. Make sure to sand and round off your cuts to prevent wire rub! I have added some 10mm shrink tube around the base of the wires for added protection! You cannot beat the price. Two batteries with a bit of velcro between fit well with the expanded Traxxas battery strap.

Very, very Powerful! Have it on my FLM E-Maxx 3905 which is a heavy Beast who need a max of punch!!!
One of the Best 40c you can buy for this unbeatable price and this will not be my last purchase of Turnigy products! All details are 100pcnt right, 8AWG wires & 5mm connectors: nothing to say!!!
