Bruce: With this connector you don't feed the housing onto the wire first. Solder the wire to the connector and the push the connector and wire into the wider end of the housing using a small jeweller's screwdriver until you feel it go click. Give it a tug to make sure it is locked in the housing. Job done!!! It works best if the soldered connector is still warm from being soldered.
Hi, I was wondering how these would be attached to a wire? I got a few Turnigy plush 25 A bulletproof speed controllers. They didn't come with any connectors. Would this be compatible with that? Also would I need any special tool to crimp these?
Hi Noah, you will need to solder these plugs to the wires of your Plush speed controller. If you need help to solder, I can suggest do a search on youtube for 'solder bullet connector' and you'll find a lot of helpful videos. I don't think there is any plugs that you can crimp on to the speed controllers wires that will carry the amps effectively through the connection. Cheers Michael
Hi Hobbyking. Can these be packaged in say two pairs instead of 5? I use these a lot but many users really don't want 5 pairs to try the product. Your new yellow triangle product is packed in two pairs and it is a far inferior product than this.
Yes it is. 15 male, 15 female and 5 pieces each of housings fitting together. Very nice that you do not have to regard to wiring. You can switch the motors direction just by unplug, turn, plug. I use them whenever space in the aircraft permitts. Hope that helps.
