Is there any manual available for download?I'd like to know if the ESC supports a "fix rpm" Mode like the Castle ESCs do or if this is maybe a planned feature for a newer firmware version. Price is great.

Hang on - That's not fair you ask a question then answer it yourself. Now you have me interested. What is 'fix rpm' mean?

I rule that you are now required to supply the quoted information or I will cry into my beer.

I think he means governor mode.  Looks like it has three modes for governor.

No, he means not ;)

Castle Creations Phoenix ESCs support a special mode, where you can program 3 fixed rpms to the ESC (via USB Link) - you only have to know about your motor poles and your gear. Then you can use these settings by having your throttle in the defined ranges (e.g. throttle between 50% and 90% always sets the 2nd programmed rpm) - works great and reliable and you don't have to use your tachometer anymore. You don't even have to worry about different battery types, which is a problem with normal governors.

As far as I know, Castle ESCs are the only ones which support this feature.

Anyway - I'll give the 60A a try in a 450 size CopterX V2 with Lightning Heli Quad-Blade head (will be a small scale machine... parts laying around for a year now...)

I was delighted to see these ESC's come out.  They have 2 of the main things I wanted in an ESC-Data Logging, and Firmware upgrade capability.

Actually they had three - They are sold by HK (inexpensive).

I'm not happy with the LVC, though. Essentially 3.0V per cell, which I find too low. For a "programmable" ESC, not being able to set a custom LVC is irritating....

But $25 for a data logger is still pretty huge. :)

first of all the cables were not made correct etc etc!

closer look: servo wires are INCORRECT! needed to open the connectors, same thing for power wire: if you connect following the plastic cons you have empty+black red+red and black+empty! nice job!
same for the 3cable wires: INCORRECT!!!

NEW engine dead, no beeps no nada...
