I can only remember half of what I say....

Hey dude where abouts in Aus are you? I'm from Perth. I've got a lst xxl monster Truck and a Rc8te Truggy on 6s 2200kv MMM. The lower to kv and the higher the voltage will be more efficent  run faster and cooler. I'm going to run around 1600 to 1800kv on 6s in the Lst XXL, should to standing back flips Smile.  Gearing also effects heat on all the electrics so if you lower the gearing on the 2800kv motor it will last longer.
Nice truck .

I'm in Adelaide.

the 2800kv motor was originally bought for a firestorm, till my mate convinced me it was too slow for the firestorm off 3s.

so, I bought a savage roller, to run the motor off 4s.

then I ended up buying a 3500kv motor for the firestorm, but with the smaller, 32p spur gear, the pinion I'm using is too big (smaller one won't fit), so the firestorm really needs a 2800kv motor.

I've also bought a KD45, 2300kv motor for the savage now, had a pinion drilled out to 6mm, but its not quite big enough.

*sigh*

ah, so thats my motor story! lol
