It might not be much help but I found this: Scorpion HK-4015-1450KV Brushless Outrunner Motor It will fit but its nearly 3 times the weight, higher rpm and 5mm shaft. Thats all I could find that is a 4015 with the search. |

a 3548,or 3542 3 cell should be fine with the 3548 900-1100kv turnigy you can run up to 4cells the best way to figuer out what motor is by wieght this you can find in the tec. notes in some cases it's not entered, however thats mostley on the lager motors a 4260-500 will run up to around 8-9lb with 6-7cells I run this motors with 6lbor higher higher then go up to 5065 after that 8-9lb spot

If you are building a slow Trainer a good rule is 1oo Watt per 1000g for planes. To find the perfect Motor you can use a Programm like drivecalc, http://www.drivecalc.de/ Drive Calculator is a good tool that helped me a lot and the best, it´s Freeware. English and German Version, English and German Manual. |

A few good places to start guys,-
Rule of thumb Watts per pound of aircraft weight. 50+ will fly, prob not rise off ground take offs and won't set world alight 100+ good sport flying 200+ Aerobatic + 3D Now how you gonna achieve this? http://www.ecalc.ch/motorcalc.htm?ecalc&lang=en Along with http://personal.osi.hu/fuzesisz/strc_eng/index.htm Are great places to start. Good Luck
