HK 450 recomended parts.  I have ordered the below parts for the HK 450 and I ran into a small snag where I need mounting screws for the motor mount and some ball links for the servo horns.
Here is what I have ordered so far.

If anyone else has built this kit and found other useful parts can you please paste the links so I can order them.  Thank you in advance.

I wouldn't recommend the ASSAN gyro. Didn't work well for me as tail-lock was not solid enuff. I think the motor you ordered maybe a tad too powerful. i would recommend that you start with a lower throttle curve (e.g. 0,40,60,75, 85 on a 5 point throttle curve) and work your way uy up from there.

have fun!

By all means I'd go with gy401 first choice. If on a budget go for GY240. If the budget limits you to piezo gyro's I've had the best luck with Assan gy410 out of all the ones HK sells.

Hi!
I have a question about the tail servo for HK-450, which one should I order? I will be using it with GA-410 gyro. I am leaning towards MKS DS480 or HD-2216MG, but that is only because of the comments I have read. I don`t have experiences with helicopter models. So I am asking for help. I have ordered HD-2216HB Digital high torque bearing servo, but it will no longer be available, so I need a replacement.

For basic hovering and orientation, the HTX900 servos and Assan gyro will do you very well. Once the gyro is setup, it WILL HOLD rock solid for mild punch-outs. Anything more than mild flying, I would upgrade the servos and gyro.
My setup:
Turnigy 4000 200wt motor.
Turnigy Plush 40amp esc
4 HTX900 servos for cyclic and tail.
Assan gyro.
Hope it helps.
J.T.

Thank you for quick reply!
I have already payed for HD digital servo, it was around 19$, so now I need a replacement for that one... I am asking you to recommend me one a servo in that rank.
