Here's my DIY v-tail quadcopter

I am using NTM 1200kv motors, KK2 with 1.5 flash, and 30A plush ESCs with 2650mah 4S batt. Front props are 9", rears are 8". I used aluminum bars for the arms. Originally this was an H-quad

The way it turns might not be immediately apparent, but the rear basically swivels around, with the front being the central point that it turns around. With a standard quad, the entire craft turns with the central point being the center of the craft. This will make it really nice for FPV as the camera won't be moving when I turn, it will be more natural, like looking to your left and right.

Frame alone was 330g. Frame with electronics/motors weights 830g. Battery adds another 280g. Flight time is 12 minutes. Arms are 18" across, 550mm diagonal.

Besides showing off, the reason I posted this was to see if HK has any plans to introduce a v-tail kit.

Hunter V-tail has been popular and looks really good:

You're welcome Shazzy. I have three of them myself (Tri-copter 2.0, T-copter & V-Tail) and I really enjoy flying them. They are very easy and inexpensive to build.
