Hi im trying to get my new rcg 26cc engine running but i get no spark from the spark plug,im using 4 x 2400 mah aa fresh charged batteries but i wonder if they have enough power ?
Shouldt i step up and use 5 x 4600 mah c batteries or maybe 2 cell lipo with voltage regulator to get a spark from the ignition ? I have read the ignition for the rcg engine doesnt like more than 5 volts but what else to do when that is not enough to get it to make a spark ? I run 5 cell or 6 volts on my crrc pro 26 cc engine and that works fine. |

Hi thx for tip it was the hall sensor itself i think, exchanged it with 1 from junk parts and engine is running.
Sounds pretty sweet with stock exhaust, hope my fellow clubmembers also like the sound ;-) |

Sorry don't recognize motor you listed, but if you want replacement plug for the HK RCG 26cc, I use a NGK CM-6, p/n 5812. If you live in the States, I get them at O'Reilly Auto Parts for $3.59 each. They seem to work better than the plug that comes with the engine. I have two of these engines and enjoy using them both. Hope this helps.
