Repairs are comming along nicely, but now that I got her guts open, I keep finding small things that need fixing or that can be improved.

Glassing is done and front retract + pneumatics are back in.

Noticed a small crack in the cap of the fuel bottle, so I replaced it. Also noticed the fuel line to the clunck was getting hard, so replaced that also.

Moved 2 airvalves to the nose, so I could take some more lead out.

Testfitted and balanced the plane and in all I'll be able to take 160g of lead out. Not worldshocking on a 12kg plane, but every gram is one less to take up :-)

Ok, I've put the eurosport back in its box and continued on repairing the T22.
I think I'm mostly finished now, just have to put some velcro on the receiver and tie the last servocables together.
Did a testrun of the turbine this evening after dark, which gave me this nice picture :-)

Yippie, she flies again !!

I removed 160g lead out of the nose, so I think she didn't gain any weight from the repairs. Handling is just like before.
Still had an airleak though and landinggear came out about half flight. No big problem though.

I can burn kero again !!

Glad it all came back together successfully Rudi. Now get on that air leak... Wink
Best Regards
I can only remember half of what I say....
I used to walk on water 'til I found out it was more fun sitting in the boat drinking beer

Airleak is fixed, it was the one way filler valve, but fortunately HC does carry those :-)
Did 2 more flights, bringing the total on 22 flights now and about 50 liters of kerosine burned

Next up is connecting my eagletree logger to the speed and altimeter so that I can see data from the whole flight, instead of just the max values.
Meters are version 3 and logger is version 2 and they didn't work together very well (got bogus results) but after a firmware update of my logger (thx eagletree for providing these on their website) it seems to work now.

Just waiting for better weather cause it's VERY windy here this week.

Other things that need to be done is replacing the air cilinder of the speedbrake (it jams sometimes) and improving the locks on the big hatch on the back.
After that stronger aileron servo's are wanted so I can let her rip full throttle some more :-) Been wondering wether I should put HK servo's in her, despite everyone telling me I shouldn't (Jetflyers seem to stick with JR expensive servo's) 6-8kg torque servo's should do nicely.

Fuel consumption at full throttle is about 0.5 liters per minute.

Have made some eagletree datalogs of 2 flights. It also happens that I experienced a flame out on both flights due to air in the fuel line.

You can see the pump amps go down and up again just before the flameouts
Both flame-outs happened when trying a full throttle vertical climb.
Luckily I was able to land deadstick safely both times.
