I bought a flycat and tried to insert the spindle into the fan rotor but damn it's hard to do. I even used my 2 ton press and still was hard. No my fan doesn't spin true. Was that supposed to pre assembled or was that something I was supposed to do. If so how do you do it and get it straight. Either I did something wrong or I'm the first to complain about it

That sound as if something was seriously amis with that spindle or fan.
I ordered the plane with a motor with a 2,4mm shaft and could not fit the fan too. Had to drill the hole out in the fan, tap it to 5mm and screw in a prop adaptor with the fan in place of the spinner. Workes like a dream as long as you drill the hole straight. Maybe that can save your fan.
