Help, I need a battery for my 1.6m SkyRaider kan I use a 4S 14,8V 5000mAh 35C instead of the orig. 14,8V 3200mA 20C?

There is no Electrical reason not to. same volts and a Higher 35c Mah rating instead of stock batt 20 is all good

But the 5000mah batt is nearly 2x heavier so u must move it backwards in the plane to maintain COG and if the wings flex now when pulling out of a fast dive then they may well break off entirley. 2 x weight moving fast puts 4x more energy to the wings.

maybee go for 3200 or 3500 and still 14v and 35c

HTH

Ps the 35c is the inportant bit if u want to tear holes in the sky buy a Nanotech 45+ woweeee

Hello KaosKane and Dutchmill64.I just could not resist buy the 1.6m A1 Skyraider from HK. I am bit concerned about the servoless retracts. Would be obliged if you shared your exeriences rergarding take off and landings with stock retracts please. I use a tarmack surface which is is not 100% flat. I thank you in advance.
