I don't think it's an 'exact copy', but it is certainly very close. I hope parts are interchangeable.

The Kyosho ultima DB is manufactured in china, so in my opinion it's possible to make exactly the same car in china too.

When i look closely at the pictures the only difference i can see with the ultima DB is the shocks absorber design, but i am ok with you, the parts interchangeability is still waiting to be tested ;)

I was about to buy one of these but shipping to US is WAY too expensive $72!
HK, please stock these in the US warehouse.

It looks great..one tiiiiiny caveat:I broke a front-upright and swingarm after a slight nock on very low speed. Plastic is brittle, glass-filled.Especially when it gets cold. The same stuff that makes Kyosho a no-go for me. Stiff suspension parts are great for circuit racing, but the devil for bashing.

When I inquired íf, and whén spares will be available I got the following, somewhat mistifying answer: (..)We are sorry that we do not have the requested part in our stock list. Manufacturer only sell the complete set of item to us as it is the minimum profit for them(..) ayayay..

I only hope they are talking about full-parts-trees. That would't be much of a problem to me..

If that is NOT the case and there will be no spares in the foreseeable future, it will be the immediate end of me using HK for my RC's    Add to that the fact that the Kyosho DB RTR is about the same price overhere (the netherlands), as the Turnigy with P&P VAT and handling costs,..well...

I've only broken things on the rear so far, third run on christmas day I broke the rear pivot block. I've ordered an ST racing concepts aluminium part to replace this as I've heard it was prone to breaking on the Ultimate DB as well. I made a temporary replacement out of an aluminium block so I could carry on running, went down the local BMX track today, managed to land on a rear wheel after going over a jump and broke the hub carrier. I've got plenty of front and rear uprights, swing arms, servo savers and differential gears, why is it always the bits you don't have that break.
Where do you find a tortoise with no legs?

Right where you left him.
