Hi Trumpy,

Greetings from the other side of the Nullarbor Desert Plain. Ah, you're spot-on in thinking that I might be interested in a HK franchise being set-up in Western Australia, so thank you for that happy news. I live in Riverton, which is some 10 or so kilometres south of, and on the other side of Perth city to Joondalup. It's way, way out of my daily flight path, but I do pass that way every 6-months or so, whenever I travel northward to visit my Midwest located sister. I'll be very eager to check it out.

Not 100% sure where Greenbushes is, but hello to you brother in any case. You sound as though you may know your way around the West quite well?

Hi Troels,

Nice to meet another of the HK forum's always friendly members.

I hope you find the thread interesting, and that Sean's good efforts and my own stumbling model making help to stimulate your own ideas on how to approach paraglider pilot fabrication. I do hope you will get the opportunity to partake, as it's already proving to be jolly good fun, and I'm sure you would enjoy having a go at it for yourself.

I did build a pilot out of a max steel figure, not sure if Matel made it though. splitting him in half wasn't going to be any where near as easy as the action man above. Instead I ended up having to cut the arm sockets out (they were so securely attached i couldn't pull them free) and hollowing out the inside. There was so much cross braising plastic that ran from front to back and left to right, the thing really was built to last. I made the servo arms out of aluminum and just zip tied the hands back on under the outfit to cover the line attachment holes.
