This is the best I can do at short notice:

Yes I have had problems with the trike pitching and the foil stalling, usually though due to too much throttle power, the foil needing to move forward rather than pitch back and if use put too much throttle the foil stalls. This morning I shortened the leading edge lines another 3cm shorter than on the photo but this caused the foil's leading edge to tuck unnervingly & repeatedly down in the glide, I might try to shorten them another 1cm or so and try that and do it until I get that leading edge fold-under and back off a cm or so.

I lengthened both (left and right), the very far outer trailing edge string by about 2cm (1") as test flights showed that those caused the outer trailing edges to pull in almost like wash-in on a wing, not sure if that's helped but it seems so.

I'm still seeing a crease just forward of the steering lines which I might try shortening the strings ahead slightly.

I also get left/right swinging quite a bit which I understand the full size ones do as well but one can counter-act the swing with opposite "aileron" at the right time.

Get rid of the 1400kv motor even on 3S it is no good and 4S is even worse, the numbskull ninkumpoop HK employee who listed that size motor should have a boot shoved up his bum so far it shall wink at him when he brushes his teeth Buy a 1000kv for 3S or a 600-800kv for 4S on that size prop, 70a ESC is a little overkill but better more than not enough

What exactly is the problem with the 1400kv motor?

I'm a sailing guy and former gas boat racer, so all these motor specs are a bit confusing.

Thanks.

Too high RPM for the prop, they know this and even Jake (designer) has mentioned it but they won't change it....possibly have an overstock of 1400kv motors Seriously the two main reasons is
1. Not enough throttle control, too much thrust at low throttle and causes prop torque (turning left)
2. Because its not a plane it won't unload the prop speed, in other words its like flying a plane but not letting it take off. It will get hot and let magic smoke out.
It will work fr sure but take note of the above.....and either use a 9ish inch prop or just order a 800kv for when that one burns out
