hey Herb I was just having a go with yaLOL

Your brakes are too tight. Loosen both lines up a bit till they are not so sensitive. Then adjust like described in the set up thread to get it to pop consistently in a straight line. the foil will turn don't worry. To tight and it will just be too hard to get in front of and you will cry.
keep us postedThumbs Up

arms go to the front of the trike at about a 40 degree angle. Servos should be mounted so the output shafts are closer towards the rear of the trikeThumbs Up

SorryEmbarrassed! This was the original question posted by Pahlevan13. "Does anyone here have a motor recommendation for the set up. I bought the recommended HK Package and can not believe the motor would run a 3 bladed 12x6. Would appreciate your input"

yes it should be ok. With that KV You will need to spin an 11.6 max (I think) and make sure you back it up with a large enough esc. You want to spin the largest prop you can. The trikes limit and recommended prop is 12" so if you can get close to that you will be fine. You are a bit high in the KV area with that motor so stay down around 11". I have had success with down to as low as 10x4.7 but it leaves little power for emergency recoveries. Hope that helps.
