Can someone that has been successful flying a Bela Trike, tell how long the risers (steering lines R&L)are from the last knot to the servo arm end where they are connected.
Also what motor and prop combo works the best?
Thanks

My turn to jump in now. I have been picking up parts for this project over the last 6-8 months as HK has had them in stock. It looks like I will end up with an extra motor because unfortunately I ordered the motor and the 3 blade pusher prop that they recommended with the gondola.I am sure that I will find a project somewhere down the line for it. Luckily I also have a couple of the 35-42 1100KV motors setting on my shelf. So I will give one of those a try. My batteries are Zippy 2650 4 cell 40c packs. I have had these on the shelf for another project and I hope they will give me a decent flight time. The only other deviation from what I have seen recommended here in the forum is my servos.I have the Blue Bird high torque metal gear servos shown here.http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9439. The are close to the same torque and a little bit faster. The big difference are full size and not low profile. The Gondola should arrive on Friday so I hope to be building this coming weekend. With any luck I should be able to get it built pretty quick and then begin the task of setting up my foil... (Note to self be patient and don't screw this part up )

Good luck Dale C.! Hey guys, I'm looking to design a custom flight controller board for the Belatrike that I will locate at the front of the vehicle. I don't have my trike yet but I'd like to get the board printed ASAP, so do you guys know the dimensions of the rectangle at the front right above the front wheel? Also it would be nice to know the dimensions of those two triangles. Any help here would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Snapping Prop shaft.
I've built the gondola OK and have an issue with snapping motor shafts.
I had a Prop drive 35-36 first, shaft sheared and snapped corner off blade. https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__14342__NTM_Prop_Drive_Series_35_36A_1400Kv_550W.html

Thinking the shaft may be to thin I purchased 3639 as per https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=27888
Snapped the shaft again (sent the blade flying nearly took my head off).
I was using this propeller

Perhaps its the blade?
