Has anybody else noticed that shipping options to Canada are limited lately?

I just tried to order an epo parkjet and fully expected it to fall under International (Registered) Air Mail for $17.95 )as below

EMS Express to the Canada (MAX 1kg) NO LIPO     $29.44     130g left.
SingPost AirParcel 2kg / 7-21Days     $33.39     1131g left.
International (Registered) Air Mail 751g - 1kg     $17.95     130g left.
EMS Express to Canada (MAX 1kg)     $33.89     130g left.

But when I got to the checkout screen, the only options were:
EMS Express to Canada (MAX 1kg)     $33.89     130g left. (selected)
EMS Express to the Canada (MAX 1kg) NO LIPO     $29.44     130g left.
SingPost AirParcel 2kg / 7-21Days     $33.39     1131g left.

Can anybody explain the missing option?  I've ordered 40+ times before this and never had that option missing on an order this size.

John

Did you order lipos?
That limits shipping options by a lot.

No, just the EPO Park Jet, 869 grams.  Not sure why the Air Mail 750g - 1kg option would be missing on checkout.

It must have something to do with that item (the parkejet).

I just did a little test adding 150g at a time (a motor) to my cart to test the shipping options from 150g to just over 1kg.

All options were available at all levels.  I wonder what is so special about ordering the plane.  Maybe the size(but is is a very small plane).  So, I can have one EPO parkjet shipped for $29.44 or two + another 261g for $29.97.

perhaps the fact that shipping anything over 1m long with canada post makes the price so absurd that you think you're dealing with fedex.
