    Posted: 21/Jan/2011 at 9:17am
I received an email that they were in but they have never showed up as in stock?

Perhaps everyone else had them on backorder and I missed out?

Can anyone tell me if any other receivers on HK or elsewhere are compatible with turnigy 9x MUST BE V2 compatible

Cheers
Rob

I should specify - can anyone point me to ones that are in stock anywhere?

Thanks
Rob

The 3-channel ones are in stock: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=10625

I think this 8-ch one is compatible too, but check first:

Thanks for that!

Unfortunately that last one is not compatible

I checked a few sites elsewhere, it appears that everyone is out

The last one seems quite expensive too compared to the usual $8.99

NO!

This 8ch receiver is only compatible with HK-7X 2.4Ghz 7ch w/ 5 Model Memory TX & RX V2 (Mode 1) .

The only V2 compatible receivers for the 9X are the FlySky ones (HobbyKing 3CH and 6CH and Turnigy 8CH).

These receivers are frequently restocked, set an alarm on them, or make a backorder.

Yep, I had an alarm but they never came out of backorder????

When I make a backorder - do I pay up front and then have to wait for the item to arrive?

Perhaps this is why they never showed up as in stock, even though I received an email from HK stating that they had arrived?

Yes, when one orders a back-ordered item you must pay up front, check out etc. Unless you're willing to wait longer, it's best only to purchase one item (quantity could be several) as HK will not ship until all of your back-orders are filled.

The HK-T6A-V2 is compatible with the 9x v2, I have several and they work great and are only $9 and in stock now. I also have used the FLYSKY FS-6RB from hobbypartz at same price with free shipping, but NOT instock right now! Both are only 6 channels but are a lot smaller then the 8 channel that comes with the TX!
