Many thanks for your reply. The product GWCHG004/6 suits my requirement. It's a Li-PO Battery charger with the same output voltage and current ( 7.4 & 11.1 V Adjustable Current: 0 ~1000mAH) which I'm looking for. The only issue is it is having a DC input ( DC (10 ~ 15 V 18 Watt.). This means I won't be able to charge the battery by plugging this to my AC socket. Is there any product which can plug into the AC socket to provice a DC input 10~15V 18 Watt?
You can use also Turnigy 2S 3S Balance Charger. Direct 110 / 240v Input. Or look ito the chargers and accesories section, there are a few power supplys.
new to the hobby so please don't hate. I've seen batteries use male connectors or female connectors,it claims to use jst connectors. Are the included connectors female or male? To my knowledge, batteries generally come with female connectors. I'm just double checking. Thank you.
Batteries always come with female connector, just like power outlets at home are female and power cords in electric devices are male. This battery uses the connector you can find here in HK as Product ID: AM-1024Ax10. Don´*t pay attention to the image header, that states it´*s a "male" connector, it´*s female. Good luck!
Do these still come with the red mini JST plug? They say so in description but don't show in picture. The plugs show up above in related products and also in my cart when I add batteries.
with this battery and a motor 1000 kv, 25 and 30A esc, prop 9x3.8 ugly stick in a 100 cm scale manufactures in 4 mm depron how many minutes of flight does it last?
I was also disappointed by my last order of those. the do not perform better than my 1 year old batteries. maybe turnigys are better. yesterday I had my first flight with a turnigy nano-tech and it felt very good.
i bought three 2200 25c zippies at the same time .. they came flat and dont balance very well at the moment with the third cell always about .15 to .20 volts above the rest .. have used them and charged them several times so far .. i still cant balance them well trying two different charges with the third cell always slightly higher... but with that said i am getting great conservetive flight times of around 13 minutes with a turnigy 35-36a 1450kv motor swinging a 11/5.5 prop and a hacker x40a pro esc in a phoenix modells rainbow weighing 1.7kg so cant complain with the power output.. all up sofar im happy as and hope with kind treatment the last a while...
The reccomended voltage for long term lipo storage is 50 capacity. That's the charge level i receive for all my batts. As on balanced, the "match" cells are the more expensive nanotech. The rest varies a little. Just do a balance charging once you receive them, the cells should be fine after that.
You need to get a charger as well. All batteries are sold as packs, not as ready-to-go power systems. Take a look at any of the chargers available here* there are a ton of them.
Hi,
the charger isn't included with LiPo. Don't make confusion between balance cable included on the battery that allow you to balance the cells of the LiPo and charger : instrument that allow you to charge your battery
Chargers are not included with batteries. You should buy separately, and be sure that is compatible with lipo batteries. Sorry by my english, im spanish.
You definately need to buy a charger seperately, a good charger like the Accucel 6 or 8 is a one time investment and will charge all of your hobby batteries :)
Normally batteries has no charger but Most RTF (ready to fly) RC comes with battery charger but they are cheap and very slow to charge, I suggest you buy a good separate charger, the one that can be connected to the computer for fast charging and a lot of option for your battery
you will need to purchase a lipo safe charger,I recommend the eco six. the charger is $18.99 plus shipping. the charger connects to your car battery and could be connected to a A/C power supply that you can purchase separately. always use the proper charger and charge it at the proper rates. not following the directions will result in a disaster. also get your self a lipo safe container to charge your batteries in. overcharging is not recommended. also attend the charging process. read as much i
You'll need one of these as well as a www.link have 3 of these charges and they are perfect. LiPos are dangerous and can explode/catch fire if not treated right. If you charge them on the wrong setting - FIRE. Read up on them and check them out on youtube
You need to buy a charger, hobbyking have many cheap options available perfect for a battery like this, such as the Turnigy 2-3 Cell Lipoly Balance/Charger. :D
Batteries at hobby king do not include charger. You'll need a lipo charger for this kind of batteries. Be careful since tyical NiMH or NiCd battery chagers are not suitable for LiPo's.
Hi, you need a LiPo Balancer, to load this ZIPPY Flightmax Lipo. This is the right Balancer www.link interesting is for the right Produkt
good choise for this Flightmax
enjoy this Lager of technic
you need to buy a charger for that there are many chargers that you can use to charge the battery. The connector with the four wires is the one you use to charge the battery with. The other wire is for discharge
here are some charges that you can use these are ones i www.link www.link www.link hope that
Hi hi, yust insert your email in stock alert under the 800mAh link. You will recive a email when the product is in stock. Hobbyking shipping is verry fast. Kindly regards
it'll be enough at least normal flights. I have tried this on my trex250, get longer hovering time than align 850. each time I charge it shows approx 900~980. this is value buy mate.
What type of plug does it come with? Not the balance plug but the one that you use for discharging? Deans copy? JST? Nothing? they do not say and in the pic the battery is hiding it. thank you in advance
A recent change of events brought on by a patent infringement on the Deans Ultra Connector, has caused recent changes to what is now going to be the new standard in battery connections here at UH.I don't think they know themselves what that new standard is going to be yet thus not displaying ANY battery connectors on any of the batteries till this is finally decided. My advice to you?Sit tight and wait for the smoke to clear on this one.
HZ Super Cub upgrade ! ! ! ! ! Here we go ..... First the Super Cub is a very good starter plane, very flyable and very repairable for first timers. My 11 yo son has been flying this for a couple years now (thanks to Gorilla glue) and has become quite good with it. As skills improve and number of flights on the provided nimh battery increases, you find quickly that nimh batts don't hold up very good and fail yearly. Expensive to say the least, $30 for new nimh that lasts a season. This is the answer, the lipo package size is a perfect replacement, fits the battery box with room to spare. The additional voltage will no doubt shorten the brush life of the 400 stock motor, but so far after two seasons we're still going strong, and the additional rpm per volt makes for really silly 2' take offs, lots of fun. Two things are necessary, first there is a jumper on the stock receiver for hi/low voltage cut off that needs to come off, you will see it in the cockpit from under the wing, secondly get a 3s monitor/buzzer from this great store. The battery, wires and monitor wires fit well under the compartment cover, we fixed some velcro to the underside of the buzzer and to the underside of the fuse so that the led is visible and the low voltage buzz is heard well, the wires protrude from under the flexible plastic battery cover with little trouble. Viola, you now have a Super SUPER Cub with longer flight times, way more power and a replacement battery that performs better at 1/3 the cost. My only issue it that not long ago the zippy line offered a 1000 mah with the same package size, now with flightmax they're 800mah, what gives, I guess I should've bought more 1000mah last year, so far the 800's have held up well and with no problems, the decrease in flight duration does seem noticable but you can still keep this plane in the air until you get tired of flying(as if)
Nice. Ive had great success with my other Zippy batteries, so Ill be getting a few of these for the T-Rex 250 once it hits the US shores... Provided the batteries are in stock by then... HURRY UP!!
I received my two batteries today. It cames half loaded. I discharge and charge...bouth charged 810mAh ! Very well finished and it's not like the picture, it's better than that. Soon I'll test it on my shock-flier. I´m waiting for the $pektrum receiver...Best, Leismann - Porto Alegre-Brazil

Works great on a Trex 250...
Fits snugly under the stock canopy.
Weight/CoG is pretty good, maybe on the light side in my case.
Just had to change the connector (Trex 250 = JST).
