Many thanks for your reply. The product GWCHG004/6 suits my requirement. It's a Li-PO Battery charger with the same output voltage and current ( 7.4 & 11.1 V Adjustable Current: 0 ~1000mAH) which I'm looking for. The only issue is it is having a DC input ( DC (10 ~ 15 V 18 Watt.). This means I won't be able to charge the battery by plugging this to my AC socket. Is there any product which can plug into the AC socket to provice a DC input 10~15V 18 Watt?
 Gerry01 2917 points
You can use also Turnigy 2S 3S Balance Charger. Direct 110 / 240v Input. Or look ito the chargers and accesories section, there are a few power supplys.
Jayakrishnan  2 points - 1/26/2013

Where do I get an AC input (240V , 50-60Hz) charger for 11.1v 3S1P 800mAh Zippy battery pack? Doensn't look like its available in HK stores.
 H-KING_SCOTT 5161 points
There are lot's of chargers to suit this battery in the charger section?
 Is40:31 1463 points
PRODUCT ID: T-25PS-220 PRODUCT ID: ACC6 This combination should do the trick, you will just need to make an adapter for the jst plug.
 Is40:31 1463 points
let me clarify, by adapter for jst i am referring to what ever discharge plug you are using.

on an hk 250 gt with 3500kv motor, what is the avg flight time?
 Andrzej 193 points
How many Amps do you have?
Daniel  2 points - 11/21/2012

new to the hobby so please don't hate. I've seen batteries use male connectors or female connectors,it claims to use jst connectors. Are the included connectors female or male? To my knowledge, batteries generally come with female connectors. I'm just double checking. Thank you.
 Gerry01 2917 points
Batteries always come with female connector, just like power outlets at home are female and power cords in electric devices are male. This battery uses the connector you can find here in HK as Product ID: AM-1024Ax10. Don´*t pay attention to the image header, that states it´*s a "male" connector, it´*s female. Good luck!

Do these still come with the red mini JST plug? They say so in description but don't show in picture. The plugs show up above in related products and also in my cart when I add batteries.

any idear why these batteries are shipped uncharged with uneven cell voltages .. third cell is about .20v higher than cells 1 and 2 ..
 mherweg 10 points
I was also disappointed by my last order of those. the do not perform better than my 1 year old batteries. maybe turnigys are better. yesterday I had my first flight with a turnigy nano-tech and it felt very good.
 drflogalot 46 points
i bought three 2200 25c zippies at the same time .. they came flat and dont balance very well at the moment with the third cell always about .15 to .20 volts above the rest .. have used them and charged them several times so far .. i still cant balance them well trying two different charges with the third cell always slightly higher... but with that said i am getting great conservetive flight times of around 13 minutes with a turnigy 35-36a 1450kv motor swinging a 11/5.5 prop and a hacker x40a pro esc in a phoenix modells rainbow weighing 1.7kg so cant complain with the power output.. all up sofar im happy as and hope with kind treatment the last a while...
 helicraz 93 points
The reccomended voltage for long term lipo storage is 50 capacity. That's the charge level i receive for all my batts. As on balanced, the "match" cells are the more expensive nanotech. The rest varies a little. Just do a balance charging once you receive them, the cells should be fine after that.
 yjjeeper 16 points
Shelf discharge could be the cause. 0.2 volts out isn't a big deal. You should balance charge a new pack the first time anyways.
tom  3 points - 2/6/2011

do i need to buy a charger or is it included
 Florian 8 points
There is no Charger included!
 Brent 5 points
Hi yes you need a lipo balance charger. I recommend the turnigy accucell 6.
 SomeUselessGeek 180 points
You need to get a charger as well. All batteries are sold as packs, not as ready-to-go power systems. Take a look at any of the chargers available here* there are a ton of them.
 catlord 16 points
Hi, the charger isn't included with LiPo. Don't make confusion between balance cable included on the battery that allow you to balance the cells of the LiPo and charger : instrument that allow you to charge your battery
 stephenk 17 points
No the charger is not included. Try www.link for a cheap, easy to use charger that will be suitable for this battery.
 Alpina540 21 points

 danitegue 121 points
Chargers are not included with batteries. You should buy separately, and be sure that is compatible with lipo batteries. Sorry by my english, im spanish.

You definately need to buy a charger seperately, a good charger like the Accucel 6 or 8 is a one time investment and will charge all of your hobby batteries :)
 Bobsiopener 14 points
You need to buy your own charger
 sailorheli 1 points
Normally batteries has no charger but Most RTF (ready to fly) RC comes with battery charger but they are cheap and very slow to charge, I suggest you buy a good separate charger, the one that can be connected to the computer for fast charging and a lot of option for your battery
 clovis campos 16 points
You have to buy the charger specific for LiPo bateries or an inteligent one with the power suply
 Warren 29 points
You will need to buy a lipo charger separately
 Fidelity 392 points
Chargers are never included with batteries. This battery can be charged with any charger capable of charging LiPo batteries
 skyjoe 14 points
you will need to purchase a lipo safe charger,I recommend the eco six. the charger is $18.99 plus shipping. the charger connects to your car battery and could be connected to a A/C power supply that you can purchase separately. always use the proper charger and charge it at the proper rates. not following the directions will result in a disaster. also get your self a lipo safe container to charge your batteries in. overcharging is not recommended. also attend the charging process. read as much i
 Brutus315 26 points
Yes, you need a charger. Make sure you get a lipo charger that can balance the pack also. There are many good choices here.

Do I had to change the JST connectors for my 250 class heli? In some websites, it is told that max amperage for the JST connectors is 7-8A.
 dtserkanozkan 41 points
Any comment please?
 shane55 50 points
yes, I wouldnt use JST with more than 5A
 toki891 1 points
if the connectors are warm after flight then they are reaching their limit.
 Olaf 44 points
Well, if your heli uses more than about 10-15A, you'll have to put another connector on it.
 schmick 5 points
Separately you charger buy a have to too.
 jmminors 25 points
the JST connector should be fine. I've had no problems with mine for 2 years now.
 kauaicuda 1 points
some eflite products use this for 250 size helis, but it would be beneficial to upgrade to a connector like an EC3
 yjjeeper 16 points
if the plug isnot hot you are ok. otherwise i would switch out for a better plug.

With how many C can i load this Lipo or how are you all loading them ??
 Felipe 33 points
the new lipos come witha warning not to charge them above 2C. The ones i have that say no more than 2C I charge them at 1.5C aprox, no problem
 PerYcut 16 points
i load it withh 0,8 amps
 Olaf 44 points
I believe you can charge these with 2C, so that will be 1600 mA. The C-rate is written on the back of the battery.
Tobi1910  46 points - 7/1/2009

These are very good batteries. I fly A 12oz foamy. It last About 6min. barly warm. heat kills lipo's
Johny  14 points - 6/2/2009

Very good value for the price. I hope that 20C discharge will be enough for HK250.
 po_au 641 points
it'll be enough at least normal flights.
I have tried this on my trex250, get longer hovering time than align 850. each time I charge it shows approx 900~980. this is value buy mate.

What type of plug does it come with? Not the balance plug but the one that you use for discharging? Deans copy? JST? Nothing? they do not say and in the pic the battery is hiding it. thank you in advance
 hubgar 81 points
According to the reviews for the 2S version of this battery it comes with a Deans ultra connector, or what some call a "T" style Deans.
 Turbobeaver 1336 points
A recent change of events brought on by a patent infringement on the Deans Ultra Connector, has caused recent changes to what is now going to be the new standard in battery connections here at UH.I don't think they know themselves what that new standard is going to be yet thus not displaying ANY battery connectors on any of the batteries till this is finally decided. My advice to you?Sit tight and wait for the smoke to clear on this one.
 babnika 66 points
recived 8 of theas 3 cell babbies today yes they do cume withe the T style similer & compatible to the deans
 Felipe 33 points

HZ Super Cub upgrade ! ! ! ! !
Here we go .....
First the Super Cub is a very good starter plane, very flyable and very repairable for first timers. My 11 yo son has been flying this for a couple years now (thanks to Gorilla glue) and has become quite good with it.
As skills improve and number of flights on the provided nimh battery increases, you find quickly that nimh batts don't hold up very good and fail yearly. Expensive to say the least, $30 for new nimh that lasts a season. This is the answer, the lipo package size is a perfect replacement, fits the battery box with room to spare.
The additional voltage will no doubt shorten the brush life of the 400 stock motor, but so far after two seasons we're still going strong, and the additional rpm per volt makes for really silly 2' take offs, lots of fun. Two things are necessary, first there is a jumper on the stock receiver for hi/low voltage cut off that needs to come off, you will see it in the cockpit from under the wing, secondly get a 3s monitor/buzzer from this great store. The battery, wires and monitor wires fit well under the compartment cover, we fixed some velcro to the underside of the buzzer and to the underside of the fuse so that the led is visible and the low voltage buzz is heard well, the wires protrude from under the flexible plastic battery cover with little trouble. Viola, you now have a Super SUPER Cub with longer flight times, way more power and a replacement battery that performs better at 1/3 the cost.
My only issue it that not long ago the zippy line offered a 1000 mah with the same package size, now with flightmax they're 800mah, what gives, I guess I should've bought more 1000mah last year, so far the 800's have held up well and with no problems, the decrease in flight duration does seem noticable but you can still keep this plane in the air until you get tired of flying(as if)
 f1yboy420 44 points
I use "sumo" glue. It foams up A little better. gorilla glue works good too.
LiveSquid  43 points -

Works great on a Trex 250...

Fits snugly under the stock canopy.

Weight/CoG is pretty good, maybe on the light side in my case.

Just had to change the connector (Trex 250 = JST).

Less than twice what Align wants.
