Hello everyone,I have a question to ask. I bought a new charger from tower hobbies,and its the venom pro charger item #0657. I am having a hard time with the math on charging and discharging of this battery http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/images/em_c

You can safely charge at 5.8 amps. Your charger probably won't be able to actually put out that much power though.

I have 4 of this batt on my hexacopter i use them 2 by 2 making pack of 11600mAh each fligth for charging only use the cheap hobbyking charger and charge it always at half power ( 2.5 amps) for balancing use the hobbyking hk10 watt meter from hobbyking and never ever add a problem with them very nice just waiting to buy some more :)

It is safe to charge by electric currents less than 1C. As for 5,800mA, a charge time is one hour. I can charge 3A in around two hours.

1C is recommended, and always use a good charger, not a little dongle charger. You can charge at a lower rate if you want, but I see no value in it, except that it may not max out your current charger. In that case, pick a value that you feel comfortable with. Don't top off your batteries unless you expect to use them within 24-48 hours. Read up on storage values for lipo's.

Hi I'm new at this writing from Spain and I have a bsd racing brushless 35A esc with SL and my question is whether this would be valid turnigy battery for my car. I would have to change something in the car? I have now the battery is 7.2v 3200mah 2s 20c

This battery is 3 cells 11.1 volt. You should consider the 5800mah 2s 25c battery. It will give you almost twice the run time. The size is just slightly larger than the one you are now using. Size is roughly 150 x 50 x 20mm. The one you are now using is 140 x 45 x 15 mm. Good Luck Ed

should just have to set up the ESC so that it cuts off for 3s instead of 2s should give your car more power and better top speed. You have to put whatever style connectors your running in your car.

Battery case cracked withing 1 week, was working good up until then, its been 5 weeks with no valid response from hobbyking

I purchased one these battery and had a bad cell.I returned the battery paying 14.00 in shipping again.and I am waiting for a new replacement.

My 5800mAh 3S 25C lipo pack charges to 6400mAh! Very happy with capacity and power for my 1/8 hyper 9e with Flux Tork 2200KV motor and 150A EZrun ESC!
No puffing at all.

I bought 4 of these batteries, charge more than 6400mha, I use two at a time in series connection (6s) in my traxxas e-revo brushless edition in bash mode I run 80 minutes (2x3s), fit perfectly and have lots of power.

bought six of these one was dead on arrival, i shipped it back and a new one is on it's way. i use them in my slash 4x4, they work great plenty of power and take around 6000 mah per charge, just take your time soldering that 8 gauge wire, very large wire for rc applications.
