I wouldn't solder to the connection holes, there's a big risk of melting the case and damaging the solder points. You'll need 4 mm bullet connectors for the and -, and a 2mm bullet connector for the balancing connector if you want to use it. Get some good quality silicone wire (2.5mm).

I am not sure about the current draw of that motor (please check specification), but this pack can delive 100A constant and 125A peek current. That's quite a lot.
If you want to use such power hungry (i asume it is) motor, please take a look at Flightmax 2S 5000mAh 30C hardcase lipo. It's a little bit bigger but it can deliver 150A constant / 200A burst current. That's way more than any motor can handle :P

My two cents:
The new picture is without deans/balance cable/plugs. Does it mean that battery is shiped without them?
It's mid-late June already ans I still do not see any information about stocking up. When can we expect to have them back on stock again?
Thanks!

You bring up a good point. I didn't notice the picture change though since I haven't been waiting very long yet, I never seen the first picture. Those batteries are awesome, they really hold up voltage very well.
My Tamiya DF-02 1:10 buggy turned into rocket by just changing good ole nimh batteries to these. I was to change the stock motor to something else, but now I do not have to, since those batteries give so much juice that the engine works two times better!!!
When climbing hill, the only thing that stops my buggy from going full speed is the grip, not the battery :)
I've checked battery, engine and ESC temperature after every couple of minutes, to check if nothing gets overheated. Engine was totaly hot (have to do something about it *-), same as ESC, but Lipos stayed cool (it was about 20deg outside, they were not even warm).
After 20 minutes of solid runtime (with few stops to cool down burning engine) , they still had 3.71 and 3.70 voltage when under load.
I have to say that I am impressed.
Will certainly buy two more when the come back on stock.

Recently I have bough hobby wing 60A ESC with 3400kV motor. It totaly rocks. The battery delivers full current all the time.
After about 15 minutes driving on the sand the battery was barely warm (engine was a little bit warmer, but not hot, ESC was cold).
I was using 67/22 ratio on 8cm wheels. I think the pack can handle twice as much!!!
Gotta do some tests on the monster wheels, that will certainly put additional stress to the pack!

Those packs are unbelievable. They work great in 1/10 applications and in 1/8. I am using two of them in series (4S) to power my buggy.
Cut off is set to 3.2V, the packs are barley warm after cut-off. After charge they take about 3600-3700mAh. Not bad for a 1 year old pack :>
Of course they deliver more current than my buggy (and me) can handle *-)

The case can be opened very easyly. Just carefully put the screwdriver between the halves from the bottom direction. When you do this all around the case it is then very easy to split into halves and than glue it back after resoldering. (I do not glue it I put shrinking tube around the case)

It should work with it nicely. This pack gives 100A constant current.
If you are planning to run 1:10 car you will never need that much of current (you probably have 30-60A ESC anyway).
