il prodotto ha funzionato solo per 6 volte. Adesso sembra morto. il led spento e la corrente elettrica non esce.

the product worked for only 6 times. Now it seems dead. LED is off and the electricity does not come out.
   Paul (100%)
I've got both of you beat. I bought five and one didn't even last through the first charge before dying. This stuff is LOW QUALITY. This is the last straw for Hobby King. I just spent a wack of cash elsewhere on good batteries for my trex 450 and 600esp and could not be happier with them.
   eclipce (80%)
I've got one to. When i first try to charge my accu it burned down. I only charged at 1A and it should produce 5A. NO WAY!

My Power Supply break after the first second when I plug it to the 230 V. It is bullshhiit. The LED go down and I started to think about the alternative "plan B"
   roslan_hakiem (18%)
easy to use. Fit to my IMAX B6 and TUrnigy 6
   uppestar (0%)
I received this power supply without the power cord, ne 110V. ne 220V.
   pcsazevedo (-6%)
Caro amigo
Essa fonte no serve para rede de 220V, pois ela s trabalha em 110V, por isso que o led fica fraco.
   Trexid (50%)
Contact HobbyKing to let them know. They may be able to replace it? Who knows.

Check you cable... Mine was cuted, I just changed it, and now, it works. *)
   AAFuni (50%)
It says right in the description that you will need to buy your own power cord with a kettle plug.
   tayothin (20%)
Is it can do warranty claim to Hobby king ?

20/04/10 My Adaptors came exactly as pictured, with the 3x circle style plug US end.

IEC would have been nice, but meh.
   Martin (87%)
mine burnt up second day of use.
   tioluck (79%)
Mine runs ok first time, second time not works.

It has a broken blue fuse on the primary part of the circuit, prior to the four diodes.
I'm searching for de strange blue fuse than says "2.5A" , but it seems a normal resistance.
   haijorno (74%)
dont buy this i bought 3 and all of them burnout=not working
   tioluck (79%)
I repaired mine, only change the small fuse with a normal fuse and works ok. I use this with a IMAX B6 changer.
   Narcizo (78%)
Mine works well just for one month, maybe 5 times and suddenly he died.
   tayothin (20%)
I w'd like to know, After you get damage with a short period. What do you do with Hobby King ?
And what they does support any ?

My power supply does not work. The light goes on and there is power for a second but then it fades. It goes on again right after the light has faded and then the cycle repeats itself. Do i have a faulty power supply? Should i email hobbyking?

   Kingmartin (25%)
I got one and it did the same although my light stopped showing at all after a few times. I tested it and it was putting out no power so I sent it back under warranty. They are replacing it hopefully arrives soon.
   austin (13%)
mine did that too and I found out that it was a bad connection in the wall plug on mine
I just cut off the stock one and put one that I bought at the hardware store on and it works fine. try wiggling the wire to confrim this though as I would hope that you wouldn't just do it because of my experience :)
   onlineflyer (-140%)
Mine doesn't do that. I think you have a bad one.
   haijorno (74%)
i also have the same problem i think its a blof!!!

I sure would like to order this...but I just can't justify a total of $21 USD with shipping. I added an N style plug to a Nintendo game cube adapter, puts out 3A. Guess I just like the cool green LED on this one and the 5A output. Oh well.
   Martin (87%)
dont buy mine burnt up second day.

thx for the info Martin!

Yes, it works with the IMAX B6 charger. I have had it running mine for the past 2 weeks, without issue.

fiqabumm (43%)
i want to use it with imax b6 to sharge 6s 2200 mah will it work

thanks
   T.rex.450 (55%)
It would probably work but you will be limited to about 1.9Amp current when charging 6s batteries to 25.2Volts (full battery).
This is because the charger cant deliver more then 50Wats to the batteries.
The power supply can deliver 60Wats to the charger, so I think it could work ok.

I would find a power supply that can supply more current to the charger just to be sure.
The Imax 15V 5A power supply can supply 75Wats
   onlineflyer (-140%)
Yes, I am running the same charger and it works well.

Will this wirk with a Turnigy Accucel-8 150W 7A Balancer/Charger
   Canamflyer (77%)
It will work if you limit the total output power to <70watts.

hafees (58%)
Is this power supply fine to use with the turnigy accucel06 charger?
In the manual it says i should only use a dc 10-18v charger.. i've got this charger already and using it right now, but not sure if it will cause damage to the charger
   3900Kv (68%)
This one is perfect just don't exceed the total max watts.

Miguel (17%)
I was wondering why the charger was overheating and cutting off with two 3-elements batteries charging at 2 amps each. Now I see that the maximum power from this adapter is 72 watts. So I was drawing 22.2 volts x 4: 88 watts!
I'm going to try charging at 1.5 amps each battery instead of 2 amps.

Well done, Miguel for checking before flaming HK.

will it work an 3E Lipo Charger 2-5Cell w/ Balancer charger
   John (92%)
Yes this will work for 3-E 2-5 cell charger, I have the same one.

billklineiii (56%)
Well, I dont know why it put *** in place of the web address - the company is Marlin P Jones - MPJA dot COM this post must not like a period.

billklineiii (56%)
It is not a computer cord* it is typically called an audio equip cord. this one is the non-polarized type. Go to MPJA**** - they are about $1 each from them.

MarkD (80%)
I believe the plug is different from most computers. Go to your local Goodwill store or thrift store. Many kitchen appliances use the same plug.

Rudog (25%)
You got to have a leftover computer power cord somewhere. There's your kettle plug, John. rhh
   David (25%)
lol most computer no longer use the tri barrel plug anymore ( also known as a kettle cord ) they now use just a female three prong conecctor.. older models of this power supply use the tri-barrel cords. most electronics dont use tri barrels anymore and are very hard to find....

handfistrc (76%)
Where in the heck can i get a kettle plug?

Thanks

Straight Up (84%)
This is not a question, but a response from a NON Hobby City person. There was a complaint that the powersupply doesn't do 6A. The user was charging a 6S pack and it was cutting out at 3.5A. The current on your charger is NOT the current supplied by this device. If you charge a 6S battery at 3.7A, the charger will need to supply over 24V at that current. However, the input to the charger is only 12V, so it must DRAW twice the current to achieve this (12V * 7.4A = 24V * 3.7A). A failure to understand electrical power is not Hobby City's fault.
   Deryn (92%)
Reading through the reviews it seems many people don't understand the item de******ion. Lawrie's comment above explains why you may not get 6A from it.
Basically the Output(72watts) = V(12) x A(6). Max output will always be the same, so if you double the voltage you need to halve the amps - Output(72watts) = V(24) x A(3).
This is a cheap, low output solution that will work well for charging smaller packs. If you are charging packs bigger than 3S 4-5000mAh, you should get a bigger power supply.

I would also not recommend drilling out the chargers input socket as someone said in a review. It increases the chance of a short circuit and damage to your charger/yourself.
If you are looking for an easy solution you should spend a bit more money for a power supply with the right plugs/connections.
