The TG9e performance is on par with the famous HXT900, however the TG9e isnt as resistant to crashes or over-loading.

TG9e this is not as good as the HXT 900. Its connectors are compatible with FUTABA. I bought four of these .... and much preferred the HXT 900

Every pin header connector with pitch spacing 2.54mm (100mil) will be OK.

someone knows if this servo is compatible with futaba?
   uhnorton (50%)
Futaba, Jr, hitec, Spectrum...all of them my friend!
   Letatel (92%)
yes, this is an "universal" servo.
   Trance183 (90%)
Just tested them. They suck about 550mah each when moving full-swing freely really fast. Really responsive and very smooth. Awesome for all my foamies. Be careful, they don't have an overload circuit so any high force or crash can strip the gears easily. Also servo wire is twice as long. Very nice.

Wonder if they would hand the cyclic on a HK450?
   Jason5001 (-7%)
In all honesty.
They are a good servo, but they lack an overload circuit which usually stops the motor from struggling if it encounters excessive force. This means if you have a problem with a control surface or hold the servo with your finger, it will strip the gears.
So, please make sure your control surfaces are working correctly and there is no binding.
   Trance183 (90%)
And does the HXT900 have this overload circuit you speak of?
   Bigglesfliesund (78%)
interesting they seem to weigh more for posting purpose , cant see any advantage over the more expensive one when buying in bulk as they are 50% more expensive to post
   Jason5001 (-7%)
Weight updated.
   Bigglesfliesund (78%)
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm updated indeed still 2 grams more cant buy them :(
   Jason5001 (-7%)
They weight 9g + longer servo wire + plastic bag plus extra horns.
We cannot go lower than 15g. Sorry.

What is the difference between 'TG9e' and 'TG9' ? Does anyone knows?
   Phrozius (71%)
Slightly less torque and slightly more spead. They have quoted a 7us deadband but the tg9 does'nt have a quoted deadband to compare with.
   Jason5001 (-7%)
The TG9e has a different chip compared to the TG9 and HXT900 system, making it cheaper and not as 'smart' when it comes to over loading.
These servo's are good provided you don't crash or overload them. They may strip gears in such cases.
HXT900 and TG9 are stronger and more resilient to crashes.
   Letatel (92%)
do not overload this servo, you may crash reductor gears.
   lolo69 (50%)
se sont un peu pres les meme mais le teg9e est moin cher que l'autre par contre l'autre va mieux dans le temps

Well the TG9 was good enough for simple foamies so it can't hurt to order 2 of these for some testing. I'm thinking about using them for flaps on an F22 Raptor. Stay tuned.
