Anthony (43%)
Hi
Would this motor work with this kit?
***********hobbycity****/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9662
This is my first part built kit attempt.
Thanks

Hi Anthony ** the kit comes with a motor but I can confirm the AP05 works great. I bought the AP05 based on the mixed reviews I read of the C05 with the kit and on a recommendation from another flyer. The AP05 definitely gives the plane more horsepower and authority. Good luck. Dave

hi, I must be missing something... the stock engine is a 3700Kv, and the AP05 is only 3000Kv, so isn't the stock motor more powerfull?

HC's been out of stock on suitable battery packs for this and all the micro kits for quite a while... Don't want to buy it unless I can pick up some packs in the same shipment but I feel like I've been waiting a long time. Anyone else?
   dghutt (66%)
Follow-up: I bought the plane when 240mah single cells became available, and made up some 2S packs of my own. They're working great and are lighter than HK's 15g 210mah/15C packs.

Have the motor issues been sorted with this yet?

Hank (20%)
This is the exact message I got

Attention

Sorry, either your parcel is too heavy, or too long for your country.

I've order motors, props, servos, etc but can't seem to order this plane.

Hi how can I order one of these planes? Every time I try to it's always says it's over the weight limit.

I have just completed one of these models and maidened it today.
I have used 3.6g servos and found it flew better without ailerons, because of their small size I found them to be ineffective.
I used a Rhino 360 as well as 2 parkzone type batteries joined together.
   wayne5 (69%)
I also changed the motor to a CO5 as the original was useless.
If you order a kit get a CO5 as well as a precaution.
Does fly well on rudder/elevator, particularly if, like me you are using heavier servos

Hello All
This is my first EPP model, and I am wondering what the best adhesive is for it.

Do I need to use Foam Safe CA, or can I use normal CA?

Does CA Kicker have any effect?

I wish there were some s****s in the box I could practice on first........
   BCBasher (85%)
EPP gules with regular CA and accelerator, as far as i know you can do it without kicker but it takes for ever to set.

Hello All, 7-28-2009

For the Mini Eagle hinges they say to use scotch tape. Scotch tape does not stick well to the EPP foam. On crashes it will come loose. Here is the hot ticketRubber Band Hinges. Small pieces of rubber band cut to 3mm X 9mm X .8mm pieces. Superglue sticks real well to rubber. No issues there.

Tip: use smaller pieces of rubber outboard on each control surface. This also brings a real good true "0" to control surfaces. Just to let you know.

They're coming.
Wait 14 days..
   MegaTesla (84%)
14 days, or 14 years like the 250 heli? :p
   Jason5001 (-7%)
Ouch, you know how to hurt me.
Don't get me started on the 250 heli. I have had so many arguments with the factory I think im developing cancer.
   MegaTesla (84%)
I'm sorry! :) We know you are doing your best!
   tronchaviones (88%)
Will you sell first the winter version of the t-shirts? (14 lunar days are a very long time...) :p

   MegaTesla (84%)
Yes. I've got the mini Yak, now to get one of these.

I think this one will be heavier but more stable with the two wings.
