Hi, does anyone know if the current version of this controller (and other K-Force ESCs) support the data logging, which is accessible through the 2 in 1 Professional Programming Box? I know the 150A 6S ESC does NOT support this, but I believe the others in the range originally did, though I don't see that on the spec above.

What kind of adapter do I need to use the pc USB port to program the Turnigy K-Force series?
Standard USB cable or a special Turnigy adapter?

It may survive on Trex600 but you will be limited
to a mild sport flying, no hard manevers.
Start with 15 degrees on timing.

Hi , wonder if anyone could give some advice concerning the turnigy K-force 100amp speed control. I just got the controller, and for 2 flights it performed as expected, now suddenly it won't give full throttle! When you give full throttle the motor will start to pulse, and you can only regain some throttle if you pull the stick right down. Now it works only up to 70% throttle even when cold and with fresh turnigy 3300mah 30c 4cell pack. As long as you use only 70% throttle, it works fine. The set-up is as follows: Het typhoon 1w-30 motor in a HET 6904 fan, drawing 85 amps at full throttle. now the controller can only draw 55 amps, anything more than that and it starts pulsing! I have tried variuos settings ei: timing, PWM, throttle range, all to no avail! Please help!
   socomon (67%)
It is hitting low voltage cut-off. Check what voltage the LVC is set to and check your batteries to be sure they are up to the amp load you are drawing.
   jacost (50%)
I have set the LVC to soft cut, and the cut-off to middle. The battery holds it voltage at 13.4v at full load.I have also set the cell count to 4 on the controller. The controller work fine for two flights!- With same batteries!

have send it back for replacement, new one on its way. Hobbyking warranty works!

Hi, there were some hardware issues with these (and the HobbyWing Platinum series - same thing) last year. HobbyWing have reintroducted this line and called them Platinum Pro, and now feature a blue anodized case for ease of telling the difference. Have Turnigy done the same thing, has the hardware been updated in line with the HW controllers? Can you gaurantee us that your new stock is the new product? Is the case different? Thank you!!
   McDon (60%)
Yes, just got 3 last week and the case is anodized blue on all. I am still flying old stock with black case in a 6s 1400watt setup and using onboard bec with 5 standard size servos, with no problems. All the talk of fires had my feathers in a twist, but not experienced any problems.
   express315 (79%)
Beside the blue heatsink when you connect the ESC to PC
it is recognized as HW3.0 hardware with 1.5 firmfare.
while previous versions (Black) were HW2.0 hardware with
1.3 firmware, which I personally liked better.
This customer was awarded a credit for their answer.
   pilotrcuk (50%)
Thanks express315. Can the firmware be flashed back to v1.3 on the newer hardware?

Can I use the HW verison of the Programming 2 in 1 box/interface with these?

NEPTUNESP2H (47%)
Hi, I have one of these and it works ok when connecting it to the RX via the throttle cable, but do i need to cut the positive to use a separate battery for the RX?

NEPTUNES
   Jason5001 (4%)
No need to cut, just carefully unplug from the connector.
   Radio man (30%)
If you don't cut or remove the red cable, the esc will be fried.
   alergigo (63%)
hello, i will like to buy and use this esc with separated batery for rx like NEPTUNESP2HA.

But if we take out the red cable from esc that goes to rx, it,s is 100% safe?

Jason5001, can you explain just a little, why we must separate the red cable (red, white and black from esc that goes to the rx)if we want to use a eparate batery!!!and why we will fried the esc if we don,t get out the red one..

somebody check that the real weight are 82 grams?

happy new year for everyone!!!!

   express315 (79%)
Keep v1.03 firmware otherwise you loose 24 khz PWM choice. In v1.05 it is limited to 12 khz only.
