Is there only one receiver that will bind with the T6A v2 Tx? I have just bought one.
I would like to fly micros indoors so would like a very light weight Rx - is one available?
Any comments most welcome.

I would like to ask how many positions the 3rd and 4th channel have. 2 or 3 position? Im looking for a radio with 3 position channels. Hope I made myself clear! Thanks! :)

2 for the switches.
   Horacio (64%)
You can also use the knobs to get a continuous variation instead of fixed positions, if that suits you.

Is it just me or does it seem like after -20 stock the stop updating the number. I bought this when it was at -20 stock and it still is. So does this mean the actual stock could be -100 ? has anyone seen a stock lower than -20 on any item?
   spartas phalanx (0%)
Yes i believe that that is the case or that it says back ordered after a certain time.

I was wondering if the radio comes with battery for the RX and TX, thanks
   ssacer (38%)
No, package includes Tx, Rx, bind plug, cable for programming and CD with software
   Robert (0%)
Run like hell, this and the exceed rc version do not work with XP, Vista, or Win7.

No driver works and the computers never recognize the device.

How can i switch between rate mode and head hold mode with this transmitter, is it possible to assign a button for that?
   ssacer (38%)
Add mix for variable A or B to channel 5, and when you turn the knob, gain change
   Sam (25%)
The above is correct. Just plug the remote gain into the ch 5 slot on the rx, then mix knob a or b with ch 5 and set max and min to 100 and 0.

I bought this 6 chanel system without the required USB cable... Then I ordered the cable.

I am still unable to program the transmiter from a win XP computer with the file available.

Does anyone know what to do ?

I have problem with my HK-T6A v2. When throttle and throttle trim is all the way down, throttle on my throttle curve is on like 15%, and when it is all the way up, throttle is about 90%. At the moment I turn my Tx & Rx on, my motor starts. Throttle curve is 0,25,50,75,100 I have tried to callibrate it with T6recalibrate, but it is the same. Please someone help! Only thing I could do is put throttle curve 0,0,30,65,100 so i could fly.
Thanks!
   Dillzio (98%)
you need to calibrate your ESC to the throttle range of the radio :o)
   ssacer (38%)
My throttle range with ESC was calibrated, But I have solved it with digital radio sotware
   Sam (25%)
I had the same issue. My esc had a programable throttle range though, so i calibrated it that way. Im still a little messed up in some of the programming but i can fly.

Im planning to buy Hobby King 2.4Ghz 6Ch Tx & Rx V2 (Mode 2) but Im not sure I will find compatible receiver for it 3-4 months later. Do you guaranteed to supply its receiver? For example v1 receivers are out of stock and v1 transmitters are rubbish now.

Hello
Im new to air planes and was wondering if i can buy a 6ch TX/RX and use it on a 4ch airplane
   meatom (50%)
Yes you can!
   Sam (25%)
Yep :)
   cd_torr (20%)
Most definitely. Most people buy 6 or 7 channel radios to use on planes that require only 3 or 4 channels. It is always nice to have extra channels should you buy more complex planes that have flaps or retracts, which require those extra channels.

I have a problem with my this RC. it has interference. It was demolishing my model aircraft and still has me without sign. To which this owes? Is it a problem of the RX or TX? And since can I avoid this??
   Jacob (88%)
it is a low battery glitch not interference. never fly below 3.4 V per cell on the lipo in the plane.

AEROBJ (75%)
Hello everyone, I wonder if this radio works with batteries or 8 and rechargeable battery. how many volts and charge him. Thank you.
   Jacob (88%)
It will work with any 3s rechargeable lipo. you would have to open it and solder a positive and negetive wire out of it. 1800mah turnigy is a perfect fit. I would guess it also works with typical AA rechargables too that you can pick up off the shelf
   UrsusRF (28%)
It need 12V. You can use any batts you want - NiCd\NiMh\Pb\LiFe\LiPo\LiIon
   Sam (25%)
It takes 8 batteries, and calls for 12 volts. A non rechargeables is 1.5v so 8 equals 12v. I am using rechargeables and they work, but they only charge to 1.2v so 8 equals 9.6v This means that you have to charge them more than you would have to change batteries, but it is a lot cheaper to use the rechargeable kind.
   ssacer (38%)
Yes you can, i am using them in all my Tx, including this one!

you have to instal the driver for xp first, driver for windows 7 after, and then plug usb cable, instal t6config, swich on the radio, open t6config, settings, choose COM port, and it will work.

Did set which com port the cable is plugged into and which one the software is talking to?
   Shura (19%)
After installing the driver to select COM port number 3. T6config works with this. To work with the simulator except that the driver needs the program Virtual Joystick COM Driver PPJoy and T6sim. In the archives of these programs is specified as all set.

I'd like to know what the difference between V2 and V1 of the HKT6a is. Nothing seems to have changed other than the fact only V1 Tx and Rx are compatible and V2 Tx and Rx with eachother.
   zagonielod (55%)
Mode 1 has throttel on the right. mode 2 on the left
   killioughtta (-39%)
Not MODE* Version 2 and Version 1. This is Version 2 and only Version 2 Rx is compatible with it. Why? What's the difference? I own Version 1 and I paid like $10 more for it so I want to know what the difference is.
   Derick Z (34%)
I've got the same concern. I just bought the V1 right before this one came out, so I'm a bit miffed.

BrentMatthews (34%)
Hi, Im using this for my quadcopter project. How do I program this to run all four motors off of one throttle? Brent
   ssacer (38%)
For quadcopter you must have controller board, on witch you connect all four ESC, gyro etc.. Controller board connect to receiver.

   mubariz (42%)
do they even sell v1?
   G-areo (25%)
I'ts better than version 1 :)
   BrentMatthews (34%)
the only difference between version 1 and two is the location of the throttle. On a version 1, the throttle is on the right stick, but on a version 2 the throttle is on the left stick.
   j-bird (70%)
I have tested the the V2 and there is small range increase, and sends signal 0.023 times faster

I do nor understand this system – if it is supposed to be a full range system I am surprised the Main Rx does not have dual antennas or, lacking that, that there is no satellite Rx?

JAIME ALBERTO (34%)
HI FRIENDS. HOW CAN I BIND THIS TX-RX WITHOUT ESC? IF I CONNECT THE BATTERY TO THE BATTERY PORT IN TX, WHERE I HAVE TO CONNECT THE BIND CABLE-PLUG? THANKS
JAIME
   zagonielod (55%)
When you are matching the TX with RX you have to connect the bind plug to the BAT port(channel), and the ESC cable to channel 3
   mubariz (42%)
how does the rx get power without the batt?
   JAIME ALBERTO (34%)
HI. I ASKED FOR BINDING WITHOUT E.S.C. THE CORRECT ANSWER IS: 1. CONNECT DE BIND PLUG-CABLE TO THE BATT PORT IN RX. 2. CONNECT RX BATT TO ANY CHANNEL PORT (CH1 TO CH6) IN RX AND CONTINUE THE PROCEDURE.
MUBARIZ. WHEN YOU USE E.S.C. TO BIND TX-RX YOU HAVE TO CONNECT BEFORE THE BATT TO THE E.S.C. THEN CONNECT E.S.C. TO CH3 (THROTTLE) THUS E.S.C. SUPPLY POWER TO RX. FOR THIS PROCEDURE E.S.C HAS TO BE TYPE B.E.C. BE CAREFUL WITH POLARITY. CONTINUE BINDING PROCEDURE.
JAIME
   Lubis (50%)

Cant get the HK-T6A-M2 to work

1. Installed 'Win Vista or XP CP210x_VCP_Win2K_XP_S2K3.exe'
2. Installed 't6config.exe' from FS-CT6ADriver.rar (also tried the one from bmi-models)
3. Copied ser2pl.sys to C:\WINDOWS\system32 also C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers
4. Reboot
5. Insert usb cable, check com port in device manager (was COM15)
6. cable adapter light glows
7. Plug other end to HK6, power on
8. start t6config
9. select setting->com15 (also tried with other ports)
10. Move HK6 stick

Also tried with Other USB ports
Try the entire stuff on Laptop (com4)

No matter what I do the Green bars on t6config just dont budge.
Any ideas..
I think my cable is fine. May be the HK6 ?? What say.
How to get this thing to work ?

Here www (dot) sgr (dot) info / usbradio you can find a driver that I successfully tested with Windows XP 32 bit and Windows Seven 64 bit and a better application (the demo version is freely downloadable) than the original (and very bad written) t6config software.
   G-areo (25%)

I'm having a similar problem , I think the software may have a bit o a glitch ..

changed com to COM4 on my PC. Now it works fine on my PC too. (Driver is still CP210x_VCP_Win2K_XP_S2K3)
May be some time I will check with the driver from 1.
Thanks.
   frostbit (68%)
Got mine 2 months ago, and pulled my hair out trying to get it to tack with PC. 7 hr of sun in laws time(he's a softwair writer) and 4 hr of brother in law's time (he dezines computor chips) and now it's tacking as of 2 days ago. great unit don't give up. My PC had a program on it that looked at the device and assined it the best driver. I had to take that program off my PC and strip out all usb drivers then put on 210x only. I get a choise of com1 or com3, only talks on com 3. Very finikey for us not so computor literet tipes. One thing I like most is control of Ch 5 &6 with the nobs. Reel fine radeo after you get it programing, but I swear I almost used it for Target Pratis.
   frostbit (68%)
Hi agen, even thow it tock 3 months to get mine programing, I had instaled one of the 3 extrea recevers I ordered with the radeo in a cub. I instantly went out and flew it without rangechecking as soon as I had Ch. 3 & 4 reversed. So two days later I'm thinking I'm dumb as a stick! Range checked with a Futaba recever batery,( Key filed off ) recever, servo and 36" of penio wire all scoch tayped togeather to sinulate worst case senero. Over concreat and asfalt movement of servo started getting scatchy at 675 yards 617 meters. All field conditions, weather, and magnetic influences will proubly change that, but it's a reference that speakes well for an inexpencive system, Happy flying.

Tatnorway,
She was a WW2 Cruiser! She 3.5 units! And she she has 2 guns and a full unit pump! now i know this radio needs a PC cable, but can you program it and will it remember, what you have in it?
Nikki
   Derick Z (34%)
Yes it does 'remember' what you've programmed. It only needs the computer for initial set up of servo reversing and throw limits, etc. After that it's good to go, unless you want to change models or adjust any quantities, at which point it's back to the computer.
   NASAAN101 (20%)
Hey Derick,
I know this radio come with 1 x 2.4Ghz transmitter, 1 x 2.4Ghz Receiver, 1 x Bind Plug. Can you tell me a little more about this radio? Thank you,
Nikki
   Derick Z (34%)
Well it's programmed through a computer only, which can be a bit of a pain in the field. Hope you've got a laptop! It's been working well for me, and no drops in signal so far up to 50m or so. What do you want to know? Or am I too late? Make sure you order the program plug! It does NOT come with it! You can set up mixing to use the two dials on top, and can set each of the two switches individually as well.

I came also with a question: What simulator program would be compatible with this radio? Real Flight G5 is compatible? Or if you know about a freeware which would be compatible, would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
   dido41987 (69%)
The freeware FMS is compatible, just install t6sim, search google. Real Flight is compatible at the moment only the 4.5 version. You have to install a Dongle Emu (3.3) to let it work!(after the t6sim)
   Lubis (50%)
Can't answer which it'll work on, but I can tell you this. It doesn't work with FMS or HeliSimRC
   Tatnorway (0%)
I have not been able to get it to work wit RFG5, but it works perfectly with Aerofly, as long as you make a new configure as an "acro" plane without any other settings :)

On my Vista I click on Setting and it gives me one port (COM3 non responseive) and one my XP it gives me noting.... What am I doning wrong HELP PLEASE .....
   dido41987 (69%)
Try to download the latest driver, just search for PL-2303 Driver. Then use this procedure: Install the USB driver first. (PL-2303 Driver Install.exe) Install the t6config.exe program next. Plug the USB cable into the Computer. Click through the hardware detection screens. After the USB hardware detection screens, turn on the power to the Tx (did you install batteries?) run T6config.exe Click the "Setting" button to select the serial port that was created by the USB install (likely the last on the list). If it is communicating, you'll see that moving your sticks make the green/black bars at the top move. Click "Get User" to get the Tx setup loaded into your PC. Click "Save" to save your settings (do this before you make changes so you have your defaults saved). Note: Do not edit or save your config files without the Tx plugged in and communicating. I have found at least on my system, if I do this, it does not always save the data right if you work w/ T6config.exe when the transmitter is not plugged in and communicating w/ the PC. I did not have any issues w/ installing my USB driver. I installed the driver BEFORE plugging in the USB device. But if you do, I heard this helps. Download the MS Windows serial USB system file, called "ser2pl.sys" from here: ***********floridaprobe****/usb_install.htm The cable uses the Prolific PL-2303 USB chip. Apparently it doesn't always get recognized by Windows, so the system file doesn't get installed correctly. Download the system file, and copy the file to your C:\Windows\System32 folder. Plug in the USB cable into your computer, then restart your computer with it plugged in. It "should" get recognized at startup.
   Lubis (50%)
Check the COM-port name. Mine was COM13 and it didn't work, I then changed it to COM2 and it worked fine
