Hello. I want to purchase a transceiver. Batteries should not be shipped on a plane. I saw a small loss on the last flight purchase the above reasons. Turnigy 9X 9Ch Transmitter w / Module & 8ch Receiver . Is there a problem with the plane of the above products shipped?

Yongbai this Rc System does not come with a Battery. You will need to supply your own 8 x AAs or a Jr Type Tx Lipo. I hope this helps SORRY.

Andrea yes it does say PPM but the Receiver does not support PPM. It is stupid but it is not the PPM you wish.

i wish to use each stick for steering and for throttle, the one stick having no return to centre is all part of the plan... cruise control on that axle. after much research i find that there is a way to set it up to have a dead zone on said stick and have forward and reverse throttle. this is also good news. every time i look at another video about this remote i love it even more and thank you for your reply anikeev it was helpful and inspiring.

i plan to use this to have full control over all servos for front and rear steering and throttle for both motors on axles of my crawler build. i see nobody else has posted a question about this yet. my question is how easily will it program each stick to individually control a servo and motor independently? i want to have rear and front steering and be able to skip dig switches using 2 ESC's and how would i hook up the ESC's?
 anikeev 1286 points
You have 2 sticks for 4 channels. BUT! One stick doesn't have "return to center" spring on vertical way. You can mix channels to use one stick for activate 2 steering servos, you can even invert one of them. I've never has a crawler but I think that "turnigy elevon mixing" by any search engine will help.

so i guess now my question is how to wire a single battery to 2 esc's? i know this is not the spot for this but if someone could point me in the right direction i would be very greatful
 anikeev 1286 points
It depends on ESC and Battery connector type. You can start from section (HW and accs ** wires and plugs ** batt esc connectors) - here you can find already assembled Y-wire (not for all types) or you can buy proper connectors and solder it to get your very own Y-adaptor.

Straight Up
53 thumbs up!
I bought this to supersede the HK-T4A transmitter. It comes as a bare transmitter - no batteries, no charger, no instruction manual, and no module (not even 72MHz). This is all OK, as I only use Lipo batteries, hate the cheap transmitter chargers, and ordered an Assan 2.4GHz JR-type module along with the order. Hobby King were up-front with all of this from the start, except the lack of a manual. The manual is available online, as the IMax 9, and the lack of a manual saved me further shipping dollars - a big factor in ordering something cheap.

The good news, it's not a cheap-feeling radio. The gymbals are really smooth, almost to the same standard as my Futaba 9C. Even the throttle ratchet is quite smooth, which is essential for heli flying. The case is plastic, but it feels nice in my hands.

Control with the Assan module was absolutely locked in. The availability of exponential restored my Shocky back to the smooth flying wonder I had originally built (with the HK-T4A I could not get it to fly smooth - I've become addicted to expo). The precision was also really noticable as I fed in gentle "tickles" on the sticks. Outstanding!

The misses (deduct one star):
IF YOU USE EXPO YOU CANNOT USE DUAL RATES!!!! Even 1pcnt of expo disengages any dual-rate settings, even though the rate settings are still there on the screen. I was initially really disappointed about this, until I realised that I hardly ever use dual rates. If you depend on dual rates, this is a FATAL

This 9 Channel Transmitter is excellent, I am using this unit with the FRFRY 2.4Ghz module (JR compatible) and it work smoothly, I prefer the FRFRY over the Corona because the FRFRY is a TRUE Frequency Hopping system (very much like the FUTABA FAST) and is smoother on the servos, Also tested the Dual Rate and Expo and contrary to some reviews in my case work perfectly, remember to channel one at the time (expo or dual rate) and get out of the me
