What is the difference between an OPTO ESC and HV ESQ? Is there any difference in continuous amperage or something? Thanks.

Im running this 150a speed control with the monster 7000w turnergy motor. Should I use high timming. I know with some it will burn the motor up if the right timing isnt selected. Thanks All!! PS goin on a skateboard. Waiting for wire and connectors to complete from HC.

Just got word from customer service that they don't have a timetable for when the new program cards will be in stock. Anybody tried using the old program card with it? Although it is stated that it won't work with the old one.

It does not come with the USB connection and software. The software is available for download for free, the USB interfaces are available on ebay and at other dealers under the H***ywing brand. Search for Advanced Professional Program Box.

I just ordered three Turnigy 150 amp esc's with the Turnigy BESC programming card I just want to make sure this is compatible. Also I don't see the USB cable anywhere. Does this come with the esc?

This ESC is not compatible with the Turnigy BESC programming card as per the product information. Hopefully the programming card or the USB interface will be available shortly. In the mean time, every feature can be programmed with the transmitter except for the user-defined cut off voltages.

No reverse... doesn't have the large heat sink a car would normally require.

Heatsink is on the other side. It's huge. It would work wonderfully in a car as long as there are mechanical brakes. Oh, and bud? No reverse is allowed in races. *)

Great to see another Turnigy ESC which I like so much. Impressed with USB upgrade ability and with Governor for helis. Cannot expect much from the one though because such a simple thing as a soft start is next to useless on Turnigy ESC's. Need improvement, so as said keep it up!
