FYI to all: if you encounter different characteristics and specs from what is listed in the description use the "issues" button above "add to cart" to report discrepancies. Hk may not read the discussions for an item soon, if ever. They are very good at responding to correct inaccuracies in descriptions.

i would not recommend this as a tail servo...too slow i think, i've been using it on my clone 450 with a 401 gyro clone, it held ok but with a lot of bounce, and the gain turned down as much as it could be (otherwise it would wag). After putting my real t rex out due to a crash i have swapped the S9257 futaba gyro on to the same heli, same gyro, now it stops on a dime and is smooth as. I'm considering buying the GWS Park HPX Servo 19g/.05sec/3.6kg (Futaba Plug) and trying that out on there when i get the t rex airborne again.

.05 secs sounds like it could be good (S2957 is .06sec...i think!)

Gaui GU210 gyro would not detect this servo on its initialization. Unpluggng and replugging of the servo did make it work eventually, however, the servo only last for 1/2 the flight and failed. It was not cooked but worked intermittently ever since. The USD23 went down the drain just like that.

It's the same with Align GP750 gyro, not detect. But when i try with futaba 401 or 240, it work fine.

Has anyone used this as a tail servo with the Assan GA-410 Gyro? I read that it does not play nice with some digitals..

Not recommended for working with gyro. Mine failed in the first hovering flight.

Hello, I have this servo as a tail rotor servo in my HK-450, connected to Logicteck 2100 Gyro. and the Heli tail sweeps back and forth. How do i configure them to work together? Thanks in advance (:

Hope you are using it with position 2 on the servo selection. Position 1 is for dedicated Logitech servo. Have you tried reducing the gain?
