This looks like an excellent smaller EDF motor. Probably suitable for 50-55mm EDF fans. I will try one out and see how it goes.

The KV is too high for a 55mm GWS fan 4200Kv is 'about' right for 3s even 4s if V careful. No wonder your heating things up with those. There is an ADH 300 in 4200kv buy/use some, these are decent motors when the suitable KV is fitted!!

I hawe a 250 GT helicopter with Turnigy 2623 MOTOR. I can not find any pinion gear that fits the motor. I've tried 3 different pinion gears. but none match the teeth of the gears on the helicopter. Please can someone help me? which pinion gear should I buy?
 Quetzalcoatl 7 points
Hi! if you have the correct gear mesh for the pinion and main gear and the pinion hole is too big or too small for the shaft, here are the solutions that worked for me: 1- If the hole is to small, just make the hole big enough to go into the shaft with some pressure. 2- if the hole is to big use some strands from a copper cable (if you have puffed lipo batteries that you are not using anymore the cable strands will work really good) to fill the gap between pinion and the shaft and use red treadlock to keep the pinion and main shaft from caming apart.
Cheers

Hi, I have turnigy 2623 motor. but it has three black wires. And I hawe a Turnigy basic speedcontroller with three red wires. (a, b c) How do I connect this wires togheter???
 kostakis52 23 points
You can connect the wires any way you like a red wire from spead controller with black wire of motor. To reverce the motor reverce any twe wires.

Thank you very much for the answer :-)
 somchai6813 170 points
Just connect each one togather one to one then start your system and check whether it turn in the correct direction as your need it to be but if it is not then you just swop two pairs of the wire. It should be turned correctly.

Will this motor suit the HK-250GT?
 PeteDee 182 points
Yes it would but the kv rating is a bit higher than the standard motors so you would need to gear down a little.

Can I use this Motor with 3s in the FireFox EP200?
 Infms 43 points
No, I'm running this in my FF200 with a 15T pinion & 2s lipos (900mAh). More than enough power. Rather use this for 3s: www.link (+ 15T pinion)
