Does Anyone know if i can use this Gyro for the Esky Belt CP V2, with the stock 2.4ghz TX/RX? i also want to change the tail servo, maybe any recommendations?

pinguin6218 (50%)
Why my servo creep everytime I conncect the battery? I already set the subtrim to stop the creep, but every time I connect the battery, I have to set it again. It always changing. I try with DS922 and MKS DS470. Both servo won't work on digital setting, it jitter. I have to set as analog.

Anybody knows if this would work on cars for drift cancellation?http
   Tatnorway (0%)
I'm not sure, but hobbycity sells an telebee gyro for cars! That will work I guess :)

Can i use this with a 4 channel radio? Specifically the honey Bee fixed pitch?
   David Zelenka (16%)
You can. But will you have to set up gain on the gyro, not on transmitter. If you want to set it from Tx, you need an extra channel.
   bill (65%)
Thank you!! It is a 4 channel so on the gyro it is. I can set both HH and rate from the gain screw?

Bill
   Beam KOR (-110%)
sure...
   Tatnorway (0%)
As long as you have 6 ch transmitter and Receiver I guess you can use it, but i'm not 100% sure.
   stergiopilus (50%)
Yes, you can use it on a 4channel radio (use the manual gain screw on the gyro). When you adjust the gain on the gyro, 0-50% will make the Gyro perform in Rate Mode, and 51-100% it will perform in Heading Hold mode.
   bill (65%)
Thanks Guys!!
   Davor (69%)
Yes I think you can
   Pygar (16%)
Have any of you guys an idea about the Honeybee FP? If so you know about the 4 in 1 controller inside this heli. Good luck trying to integrate this gyro into the 4 in 1.

Experts....would you recommend this gyro or the hk401b in a 450? And why?
   eiliux (81%)
I'll suggest hk401b gyro instead of this one. I had 3 of Turnigy Piezo Head Lock & Standard Gyro (Previously they were labeled as TeleBee), but all of them after about two months started drifting. And that was unstopable nor with trim, nor with subtrim. The hk401b gyro I use, has been tested in various temperatures, from -12C to +24C and no problems mentioned. So my vote goes to hk401b.
   daverp (13%)
I have both and prefer the Turnigy. Turnigy is smaller and easier to fit on the heli. Performance is about the same with maybe a slight edge to the Turnigy.

Will it work with spectrum tx-rx?
   dcweng (53%)
Yes, I'm using AR7000 with this gyro on my HK450 and it works great. Just make sure your RX has the latest firmware so you will not have the initialization problem.

My Telebee doesnt get "ready" mode, and tail servo was first digital by esky honeybee become hot and I think its now spoiled. the second micro servo become hot with buzzing sound and now damaged too.
What can be wrong?
Bad servos or gyro must be replaced?
   ahsis (26%)
The old receiver wasn't good.
Good job!

Dear Everybody!

Sorry, I'm not flying helis or planes, just cars, so I do not know gyros well.

I want a gyro to my 2wd car, for counter-steering and drifting.

Does this gyro let my car's rear end to slide(just in the desired/adjusted rate)?
I see the "car gyro" on Telebee's website, it's specially for drifting cars but it isn't sold anywhere, so I plan to use this gyro, but don't know if it's good for me or not.

Many thanks:
Arpi

Hk has a gyro for cars if you haven't seen it yet.

The gyro says it is head lock or "standard mode". This means rate mode? How do I set it for this mode? It only has 4 buttons (ATV, Gain, Reverse, DS/Std).
   ocker (84%)
It plugs into 2 channels on your Rx. The 3 pin plug goes into the rudder channel, the 1 pin plug goes into another channel, such as gear aux2 etc. Use the 2nd channel to switch between standard/rate mode and head hold mode.

Just a quick show of hands which is better Telebee or Assan GA-410,I just orderd HK450 (T-Rex copy)and would like to know what you all think is a better Gyro to use? Iam new to Heli' so any info would be very helpfull!!!(Been flying planes for awhile would like to get into Heli's )
   helimangler (87%)
Hiya Tryin2fly!! I have the Telebee on a blade 400 with a MKS DS480 tail servo and it holds very good!! Not a bad gyro at all. A good tail servo is a must for any gyro I am gonna say. Setup is foremost of importance. If you dont set it up right, you will not get good results with almost any setup you install. :-)
   dcweng (53%)
Hi Helimangler, are you using digital or analog mode on your DS480? I have to set the gyro to analog to aviod some glitch issue.
   Radiumf (34%)
I might have the same problem as dcweng with this gyro and the DS480. When in DS mode, the servo twitches once about about every 20 seconds or so. Basically it means that the heli turns on it's own about 30 degrees everytime it does this. In analog mode it appears to be normal. Bad gyro?

Taejin (54%)
I can't get rid of tail wag on HK-450...
I am using this gyro on HK-450 and HD-2216MG as a tail servo recommended by many people here. It seems wag is worse on head holding mode and worse if I use lower servo arm. Also digital mode is worse then standard servo mode. I moved the linkage ball to the first inner hole on the servo arm and it seems better but still slight tail wag. It seems much better with HXT900 analog servo but I want to use digital servo as others doesn't seem to have this problem. What am I missing?
   Taejin (54%)
I mean to say longer servo arm not "lower" servo arm.
   Brandon (65%)
will this gyro work on a 200 size
   ian (77%)
Taejin ,
I think you may have the gain set too high , by the sound of your description the tail is hunting , quickly skipping to each side . Turn the gain down till this wag just disappears. Hope this helps .
   pinoydad (34%)
taejin try to reduce your gain a little bit til it stops tail wagging..tail wagging means got too much gain

What's the meaning of ATV??
   flyinhi george (60%)
A T V
adjustable travel volume. Hope this helps.
   ipin17_aero (100%)
ATV is used for limiting rudder servo travel, also known as 'Limit' on most gyro

Unless someone can tell me how to fix this.... I would have to say that this Gyro doesn't work with Corona synthesized RX's.
   Chris_hfx (69%)
Glan, I "fixed" the problem by using a different receiver. lol. But if you really want to use the synth rx, it can be done. Just hot wire a switch inline of the gyro and receiver. When you plug in your battery, wait a sec for the rx to "boot up" then flip the switch on for the gyro and let it arm. If you don't want to use a switch, then just have an extension at a easy place to grab, and just leave the gyro unplugged, then plug it in after the rx is running. Other than that, the gyro itself is awesome, Ive had many flights with my T-Rex 450, and its solid. Very happy with it.
   DarrenH (81%)
This gyro is a solid performer, we have a few down our field in HK450's and they headlock very well and no drift at all. Even on 3D moves the gyro holds very well. Theres no other gyro around at this price that can match it in quality and performance.

Chris_hfx (69%)
Ok, lets talk about gyro's in Helicopters. I just received this gyro and I believe it can't deal with a delay in the receiver. I also have the Corona RP6S1 Synth Rx. It has about a 1 sec delay. I think the only work around is to leave the gyro unplugged and plug it in after powering up... if that the case then its a real pain.

Can thi servo be used in an airplane?
   ppxav (86%)
you mean gyro? i guess
it can be used in airplane, but specific to heli , so you'll probably have a lot of tip &trick to set it up properly in airplane
   webber (98%)
Thx overall i'll give it a try - seems nicely finished thats why it drew my attention )
   Sirius35 (100%)
but a airplane need at least 2 gyro, one for elevator and one else for ailerons...

But a gyro in airplane will only help to let your plane in same position it was with last radio stick action... help to correct engine torque or wind turbulence...

Never Gyro put your plane in 0 level starting difficult figure... keep that in mind
   Brian (61%)
check out RCpowers on youtube they have vids on how to put gyros on planes
   Brian (61%)
sorry that's RCSuperPowers on YouTube, RCPowers is their website.
   dditch66 (82%)
I detailed how to install a gyro onto an airplane step by step w/ some demo videos mycoolheli slash gyro
I also have threads started on wattflyer and rcgroups. Just search for "gyro foamie"
   BoltFace (89%)
RCpowers doesnt know what he is talking about. That guy just make videos to sell stuff, please remember that. Do not watch his videos.
   JRBeaman (86%)
RCPowers has some real good stuff. If you have seen anything you think is ****, then be specific. Many people have verified his techniques and sharing what he has figured out. Like anyone, they tell you what they have had success with, and Powers also tells you what has failed. That's more than I can say for many.

Can someone help? I installed this gyro on the HK450. However I can't get a respond from the gyro. The light indicator is visible but there is no tail control. My TX is Spektrum DX7. What do I need to set on my TX to work this gyro. I'm using AR6100e RX. The gyro cable in plugged into the Gear Channel on the RX. Thanks.
   ahsis (26%)
If you mean the signal cable(yellow) than maybe you should try to set aproprite input chanel on your tx, I mean gear chanel use for gyro.
   ahsis (26%)
Use aux2 for gyro cable!
   mark dimonte (60%)
Could this gyro be used in a 30 sized nitro raptor?
   rami2r (64%)
Anybody knows if this would work on cars for drift cancellation?
