MohElg  40 points - 5/17/2013   can I use one channel for 2 servos??? (for the ailerons)
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points MohElg yes you can. But this is only a 4 channel Transmitter with no mixing, so you will need to use a Y lead so the two servos go to the same channel!
waterlogged 2358 points Hi MohElg, I'll try to help you with the correct information. You will need to ensure you servos are mounted in opposite directions when you use a Y cable for you ailerons. Many kit planes will already have the holes for the servos cut to ensure you put the servos in opposite directions. Arms either face each other or point away from each other you will be OK. Never install them with the servo arm ends of the servos both pointing left or right otherwise your ailerons will act as flaps. Good luck and happy flying.
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points So waterlogged you are saying that I (NTHK) am correct. You need a Y lead. Thankyou that is the nicest thing you have ever said to me.
MohElg  40 points - 5/16/2013   what is the equiv. to 8 AA batteries?
Mikel-ange 20 points a twelve volt battery but a 3s will do fine if you convert it.
Serif 25 points I would advice you to use Turnigy 1450mAh 3S 11.1v Transmitter Lipoly Pack but you need some soldering skills PRODUCT ID: T1450-TX-3
waterlogged 2358 points Actually MohElg, The AA size is also used with nicads and Nimh batteries and eight of each of those would only give 9.6 volts. But don't panic because these radios only really need 5 volts to power them so 9.6 will do the job. If you are unsure of how to solder the connectors to a LiFe battery (much safer than a lipo) then ask a friend with a good soldering iron and can use it properly to wire up the plug you require for you. It should only take a few minutes. Using these batteries are much better than single AA cells because connections between each battery can get dirty and not make contact, plus the packs last much longer in between recharging.
nukii  31 points - 5/15/2013   i think that i mentioned already 3 or 4 times that my flight controller is KK2 ::) the problem is half gone i need to make few more adjustments and i belive it will be fine...
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Nukii I missed that. It was a while ago. You are spread over so much. You do know you can answer your own Questions. (It will work now). So there is some good INFO under the KK2 listing. So what part is stll not working??? Please. (I could not see where you said it was a KK2 sorry. (But waterlogged has messed things up). Can you try and reply under this Question. Just to see it working. PLEASE can we still help?
nukii 31 points thank, everything work now just fine...
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Well done. It is nice when it all works out. So now you will be the EXPERT on KK2.
waterlogged 2358 points What's your problem scammer. Nukii, you do know this person posed as a female on this forum and scammed over $2,000.00 off it and kicked off twice. But he's sneaked back in under a fake Name and is trying to get you to vote for him. He's liar and a cheat. Those 6321 votes are faked. he cheated to get them. Jaylee 6 points - 5/12/2013 Hi all does anyone know how or if this can be used as a flight sim controller ? I have a cable for it but can't seem to get it to work. I tried it with desk top pilot sim and FMS sim but no luck Serif 25 points Check rc groups forums/showthread.php?t=1372657 i guess he was using with FMS sim. Rexy03 1048 points you also need to run ppjoy and t6sim software rocklobster 12 points - 5/12/2013 Is mode 2 for right handed or left handed people? I've flown toy helicopters on mode 2 and i'm right handed so should i just go with mode 2? neilton 2 points No modo 2 o acelerador fica do lado esquerdo do Tx,este modo é* o adotado no meu paí*s (Brasil) pelos praticantes de aeromodelismo. Serif 25 points Mode 2 means throttle on the left side so you decide how to use it :) Rexy03 1048 points yeah it doesnt matter which hand you are, its merely a personal preference, if you want to try both you can swap the modes around Appu ap 8 points - 5/10/2013 At full or medium charge tit wll have an range of radius above 950-1200 m steven 18 points - 5/8/2013 Am I able to add other aircraft to this transmitter.? What range does this have? Rexy03 1048 points Yes you can bind to as many receivers as you want, the range is over 800m NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Steven yes as Rexy03 said, you can bind as many receiver as you like. As far as the Plane setup, you can save many different setups, (Not on the Tx but)on your computer. You will need the PC Cable to do so. I find the rang is about 700m to 900m too. vanderlei 1 points - 5/8/2013 otimo radio muito bompara iniciantes e para quem gosta de voar. jackbombay 1 points - 5/8/2013 I want to use this transmitter in a buddy box/trainerbox set-up, that is I want this transmitter to be the teacher, but I'm not sure which cable I need to connect it to the student transmitter, and I'm not sure if I just need to get 2 of these and use the 2nd one for the student box. What is a fairly cheap way to get a teacher/student transmitter set-up? FWIW I ised to fly glow fuel planes quite a bit, and am now getting back into a small electric... Rexy03 1048 points it is difficult to do with this radio, the best and cheapest way is to use this Wireless Buddy Box System 4CH (Dual RX Controller)PRODUCT ID: DUAL-RX4-01 BEST ANSWER CREDIT AWARDED jackbombay 1 points I did end up getting the 6 channel version of this controller as this one was out of stock at the warehouse close to me, is the DUAL-RX4-01 still the best way to go? Here is the controller I bought, HK-T6A-M2 Thanks for the info :-) vanderlei 1 points - 5/8/2013 otimo radio para quem esta iniciando preç*o muito bom, boa qualidade. vanderlei 1 points - 5/7/2013 sou novo no aeromodelismo mas comprei este radio para mim. Filipe 6 points - 5/7/2013 yes, it can be used in helicopters NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Filipe this is not the Rc System you want for a Heli. Please consider the 6 channel programmable HK Rc system or better still the Turnigy9XV2. Jaylee 6 points - 5/7/2013 Hi does anyone know if i can use this tx as a flight sim as i have the lead for my pc but it does not seem to work. NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Jaylee in the listing you can read "Trainer system option." This is for PC Training. So YES. HobbyKing even sell the cable. Jaylee 6 points I have a USB lead from my friend that fits but still can't seem to work it. NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Jaylee when you have a USB lead that fits is it like the one HobbyKing sells. It must have a USB to serial converter built into the USB end and you need the drivers! Jason 1 points - 5/6/2013 simulator cable Jaylee 6 points - 5/6/2013 Hi does anyone know how to do the range test on this tx NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Jaylee it does not have a range test. It has to be manual. I tested mine to about 650m and it still worked. So get a friend and a Mobile Phone and go for walk! alcioni 6 points - 5/5/2013 I wonder if this receiver (Hobby King 2.4Ghz Receiver 6Ch Version 2) Weight: 13gpode be used with this radio HobbyKing 2.4Ghz 4Ch Tx & Rx V2 (Mode 2) (THROTTLE ON THE LEFT) Yenny 239 points As I said in Yes. Please try not to ask the same question in two places! I do not know what parameters to give for the different channels in the configurations software. I tried some but the motors each motor starts to spin at different trottle level. I think this is because of wrong channels set up or maybe not calibrated ESCs.. Can someone help me with info how to configure the radio with the T6 software. My radio is acctually flysky ctb6 but i do not see any difference between. MANY THANKS NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Nukii your ESCs should not got to you receiver but to you filght controller board (FCB). You set your Tx (Transmitter) as if it was a plane. The FCB does all the hard work. We have a few members having problems with the same thing. So what FCB do you have is?. Please note there is a Members Forum (Blue tab at top of Page) for more help. chops3 204 points Hi kellyann/ Allison O that's right you go by the name NewToHobbyKing now so when you get banned again what will be your new name?. Mr. KalyanProdhan from West Bengal India Plus you have accounts in the name of Sharron, Allison, Sally, Chris, DelSt and others. NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Chops3 who are you and what have I done please? chops3 204 points Mr. KalyanProdhan from West Bengal India Plus you have accounts in the name of Sharron, Allison, Sally, Chris, DelSt and others. you are a scammer NewToHobbyKing 6324 points chops3 I live in Australia please take this matter up with HobbyKing Admin and leave this area to Help. chops3 204 points Admin have there i on you NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Chops3 Thanks You. I only want to help. Please show me how I can Help HobbyKing MORE! and not cheese you off so much. Please if you have some rules for me SHOW ME! I am happy just to be part of this place. Sorry if I stepped on some toes, I never meant too! waterlogged 2358 points I'd be happy too with an extra free$2,000.00 in my pocket. Hey Chops, keep your eyes open mate. Not ReallyNewToHobbyKing has cleared off. He found out the bounty was back and decided the pickings weren't good enough. He came back as Sally a few weeks ago and haven't heard from him since. Expect him back under a new ID shortly, just watch for the very rapid points score. It seems to be a very common thing lately. Newbies turning up with 3000 points after a few weeks of signing up. There's a number of them around. One bloke I don't think he's ever answered a question and only made comments but he's just under 3000. Similar name to the one above.
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Hay please stay on topic THANKS. A little bird told me watterlogged that your points JUMPED too??? So your hands are not clean. Maybe you should take your own advice and start a NEW. See you on the Members Forum if you are for real. Scott has told you to stop this! and stay on topic. Thanks
waterlogged 2358 points It seems the curry king is back Chops. As full as BS than ever sporting an even Bigger BS score of 6245 points gained in 8 months. His fake Kellyann score was around 16000 last time I looked. What a complete moron. Been kicked off twice and comes back here trying to tell us what to do. Do you like the Aussie "HAY" (76 miles from Deniliquin). Seems the nong is talking to birds now. And my hands are spotless, certainly a lot cleaner than yours. What have you been up to for 2 weeks, stock taking at the sewerage farm you work at?. Actually I'm starting a new quad today. I finished number 6 yesterday and the gear arrived 10 minutes ago for number 7. My FPV super quad arrives on Saturday and the ground station is finished and working. Plus the new GoPro is charged up and ready. I don't know why you have to continue with this charade Kalyan be a man (if at all possible)and come clean(after work and shower) Admit it, we all know you're 100% BS. Or are you a gutless whimp? You've given us no proof whatever of being who you say you are but we have plenty of proof you are who we say you are. Either way you're pathetic, Living a lie or allowing yourself to accept what we know about you. Either way it's so easy. If someone questioned my nationality I have plenty of proof I can give. If you can prove, without any doubt you are who you say and you were born, raised and live in Brisbane Australia, consider the apologies you would get. Prove you aren't Kellyann, although that's rather hard with Gusty's emails and you living at the same address as kellyann plus having that name in two email addresses. Truthfully you can't prove we're wrong can you? You're just a pathetic little man who hasn't the guts to admit it. Eight months ago I recall you saying you were a female but when I found out you were registered under the name of Jasper you suddenly became a male.Plus the absolutely stupid idea of racking up 6245 points. It's not legitimate. I spent one day building a plane and had your ID on the screen and every 15 minutes I refreshed the screen. in between refreshes you score shot up over 300 points. Proof positive it wasn't natural. You are a confirmed outright liar scammer and cheat and you can't do anything to prove you aren't. You wish to live that way, so be it, you'll be treated as such.
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Waterlogged stop the RANTS Please. Please Help, Please say on topic. Keep your RANTS to the Members Forum (Blue tab at top of page). Thanks!
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Nukii this is a Flight Controller Board (FCB) problem. So can we please consider chatting on the FCB area. You need to make sure the FCB is setup correctly then we can look else where! So what FCB are you using PLEASE? Once we are sure the FCB is correct we can check your ESCs too.
waterlogged 2358 points Strange thing is scammer you're not keeping to the topic and as I've already said I do not take notice of a scammer, a thief and liar. What the hell would you know about quads. You've never built one or probably even seen one in reality. This page is for answering questions and yet you wish to drag everyone to a member's forum. They've already told you this stuff stays here.
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Sir no scam here. Please look to you own rotting self. We know you have many many name and Forum Admin Knows Them! So keep spending. IF YOU EVER HAVE BOUGHT ANYTHING! A boat or two??
waterlogged 2358 points Here he goes with the typical Indian word of submission, SIR, who else do you know who calls another Aussie sir? So I have many many name, Oh goodness gracious, so you're such a smartars tell me what they are I registered with one and changed to this with HobbyKings blessing. So come on what the "many Many name" It's you with 7 that we know of. I use one so unless you can prove different, as usual all BS. What does it have to do with you how much I've bought. I've bought enough and served HobbyKing well over a long period. That is why they made me an Elite member. I could never get that if I spent as little as you. I'm certain they don't hand those memberships lightly so I have pleased someone. As for the "No scam here" you know and half of HobbyKing know it. You are a scammer, there is simply no question about it. This is the last time I'll lower myself to answer any of your stupid comments. We've gone through all this before with Allison, Kellyann and now the one and the same, YOU. What happened to keeping to the topic by the way. You're exempt are you. You have crawled on your belly like a dirty snake to get back here and because you're still here suddenly you start to get too smart for your own good. Why are you shouting If I have ever bought anything. I have to come back to that because it took you 2 years to become a platinum member. What did you do make a lot of 20 cent orders? My buying has never been in question in fact I had two orders from China this week. In fact I don't have to explain anything to you. You are the Liar, the scammer and the cheat. My hands are spotless and I have never participated in any of your usual games So quit trying to smear me with your childish innuendos and attempting to incriminate me. You were, are and always will be a loser. Finally you say you know my "many many name" tell everyone so they can laugh at me and call me liar, I welcome you to do it. I'll start you off, stubaz I changed from that for good reason and HobbyKing knows it hasn't ever been used since. So come on loudmouth give me and everyone here the rest. This is where you lose again. simply because you can't. Whilst you're at it, you seem to know how much I've spent, come on, you've made accusations. There's an old Aussie saying, You have to deliver the goods. So deliver them right now. Also I'm not rotting but I'll bet you smell like you are after a heavy at the sewerage farm. Any more of your garbage and you are going to start something you are going to be very sorry about. You forget I know people who know Kalyan and if you keep pushing I'll start pushing back.
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Waterlogged or your other 10 names, keep your rants up. I enjoy reading your RUBBISH Thanks!
chops3 204 points Waterlogged it appeases that we have a gang well that is what our Indian friend thinks.so i think we will keep him-her-it gassing.this was its answers to me chops3 and his gang and HobbyKing did listen.
waterlogged 2358 points It really makes me sick that some scammer can get kicked off twice and sneak back here and starts thinking it's running the place. I've been putting up with this moron for around 12 months in all and it was under 3 of it's IDs. It thinks it's home free at the moment, hence the backchat and stupid accusations. Mate, I've had the lot, bribery, no end of pleading for forgiveness, BS stories of owning 135 planes. Every time it posts it's got the same plane. It was the running a big flying club in Brisbane at one stage and an Indian gentleman was visiting his son and was upset because he couldn't get out flying so he spent days making phonecalls checking Kellyann out. Not one flyer he spoke to had ever heard of him\her\it. He even got his son involved (police sergeant) and he came up with nothing and he even spoke to the suburb it lives in Police station, the roll was checked and nobody fitting her name and age etc. even came close. I ended up inviting him to come down to stay here and go flying with the boys and he was about to catch the bus and he was called back to India, some family crisis. It is not in Australia. It's played around with my points which I reported to HK. It's managed to get 6255 points in 7 to 8 months which is strange because most legitimate Pro Contributors take a year or more to become one and get 1,000 points. It manages to get 16000 as Kellyann and 6000 as NNTHK. That's an absolute impossible 22000 points in less than 2 1/2 years. We all know it can't be done. Very few people have time for it so it feeds off newbies. The longer serving members will have nothing to do with it. Notice it still hasn't mentioned the 10 IDs I have. That's one of it's silly little games. It's played the same games over and over. began in HobbyKing something like 5 years ago. After 2 I changed my ID to Waterlogged because I was into boats. I've used the same ID ever since. So remember this, anything it says, including most of it's answers to newbies is 100% BS. I've had enough of it and any emails telling me it's answered get trashed before I see it. But I won't give up watching it. A few guys keep me updated on heliplanes at yah oo dot co m. You're welcome to give me a call any time. Just read it and say it out loud and the address will come to you. It took days to figure it out and it's addresses had kellyann in them. Dog was part of one, very fitting I thought. Cheers chops don't give it any peace.
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Sir please I see you are a funny or mean man. You seem to know how to do all this bad stuff. I do think you may be guilty of something. I will have too report you soon. So admin, please watch this guy he is up to some thing!
chops3 204 points did you not read and understand a thing waterlogged just said you are just a pimple on the **** of society.
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Chops3 I was crying to much to read it. Thanks for making my mega life worse than it is. Like thanks. All I wanted to do was help. Thanks. You have no idea what you do. I am sure if you knew you would not be so mean!
chops3 204 points there is no room for scammer here.so take the hint and take a hike.
waterlogged 2358 points Oh God, here comes the tears, same old same old. Funny I feel no sorrow whatever. It made it's bed and now it can lay in it. The whole thing's a farce anyway. I've heard it all before. Don't you love the He's up to something, I'm going to tell Mummy on him because he's going to do something. Like a bloody kid. Supposed to be a man HA! here it is crying because it thinks I'm going to do "Something" Actually it's Friday night so I'm just starting my Pizza. Quick chops, go get a policeman. I'm eating a Pizza. Just read the BS. "You have no idea what you do. I am sure if you knew you would not be so mean" Oh!you bad man Chops. It's got a "mega life" life too, well whoopdedoo. I wish I had one of them. Notice the Indian word of submission, SIR? once again it shows it for what it is. What happened Prodhan? were you caught taking your work home with you? It thinks I may be guilty of something. That reminds me of that movie where they could tell someone was going to kill someone else before they did. It was nearly as as much entertainment as this is. This will all be gone very shortly Chops It will suddenly change it's tune to preaching or blessing us. I've heard it 3 times already. Poor little Jasper scammed HobbyKing, hasn't the courage to admit it and wants us to feel sorry for it. Oh did you know she tried to bribe me to leave it alone. Told me it only had a few dollars it had scammed so I could have it. Oh God it's really sickening isn't it. All I wanted to do was help. Remember that mate, I can't, I've heard it so often. It rips off over \$2,000.00. I'd say Jasper has helped enough. What a dumb name. His country is renowned for being movie goers so I'd say it's been watching too many American cartoons. I'm certain the only Jasper I heard of was in a cartoon. Oh hang on, there's Jasper Carrot, an over the hill English comedian, but he made that name up too. Go away, you've done the crime, now do the time. You're about as upset as Gillard was. You remind me of that person, full of lies and BS. Go away.. PIMPLE. Good one Chops.
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Thanks! Thanks! Thanks! Also the Members Forum is where we should chat.
 chops3 204 points scammer
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Chops3 that is not nice calling Waterlogged that. But I guess you would know since you are the same person. So the game is up!

Northumbrian 67 points NewToHobbyKing, I had already done as you suggested, It is now 11/5/2013 & Hobby King are investigating a lost package for me, God knows if I will ever get my order, In the meantime I have had to buy one from my local model shop otherwise I would not have been able to sail my phantom yacht if they sell the yachts in the UK why not the Tx&Rc as well
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points North maybe Chops3 has your answers? Sorry to hear that. So I have found in the Members Forum (Blue tab at top of page) I a place for complaints. Give a shout out there. I did recently about chops3 and his gang and HobbyKing did listen. The members were nice too. Some of the Members have real power here and if they see you have been wrong they do back you.

NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Marcos please it would not be what you want. This is a very simple Transmitter(Tx). I does not even mix. You really want at least the HK-T6A 6 channel TX. Better still get the Turnigy9XV2. Please consider.

Kang to  4 points - 4/18/2013   Hello there! What is the distance reception of this? Thank you.
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Kang this is about 700m to 900m.
Priyum 48 points The reception is about 800m-900m(Tested) by myself.
mena142 740 points It really depends on your setup and where you fly (Interferience and antenna positioning). In practice, I've found about 1KM "safe" range in a low interferience area, and about 800m on urban areas. Good luck!
Tom  9 points - 4/18/2013   What is the size of the Rx? Will it fit in a micro flyer?
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Tom I can measure it but a micro flyer No. Also you will need to change the connections. H: 18mm D: 23mm L:45mm and a 140mm to 160mm tail. You could run it with its case off. Or use the smaller 3 channel receiver. If you want it measurements just say.
twan  16 points - 4/17/2013   Thanks alot for the suggestion :) although i have a question, if I use this dual Rx control thingy, will the master Tx be able to "grab" the controls from the trainer Tx? or will it be dual-input from both Tx's? thanks in advance
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points Yes but you will only be able to use 3 channels. You will need one channel as a switch between Master to Trainer.
NewToHobbyKing 6324 points You can give up the Rudder if you have Ailerons!

1. Batteries in transmitter, switch off.
2. Connect one side of the bind plug to the BAT slot on the receiver.
3. Connect an ESC (with battery attached) to one of the channels. Black line (-) goes to the far right. You will see a red LED blinking.
4. Push and hold down the bind button on the transmitter while switching on. Keep the bind button held down until the red LED stops blinking. You are now ready to enjoy your wonderful new 2.4GHz TX.

After a range test the club members were impressed by its performance. Hand signals to confirm its function were hardly seen on the end of the test so we stopped it. No servo-vibrations were noticed during this test so the signal stayed clear overall. The 3 test flights afterwards only confirmed the first experiment. Five stars for doing its job but what a pity no instructions are available.
Very pleased with this purchase.

Awesome price! I love this radio and I also got 2 extra receivers. I am flying indoor and the receiver case can be easily removed to save weight. I also have another 6ch USB computer radio that binds to these recievers and workd with all 6 channels. Hobby City needs 6ch mixing version.
