When using two lipos in parallel- do both lipos need to be of the same capacity or not? Ie. could Input a 1300mAh lipo with a 1800 mAh lipo to make a total of 3100mAh or can I only put eg. a 1300mah with another 1300mah lipo? Also-do both lipos have to have the same C rating or does this not matter? Thanks in advance
Yes you can. But make sure the C rating is the same and that the cell count is the same. I have done tests with 2200 & 1800 mah packs in parallel and they deplete at the save rate under any loading.
Depends on how your charger works. There are adapters for the balance ports from Hobbyking that allow charging of multiple packs at the same time, then this parallel harness will work.
