Wish you could know your Lipoly battery voltage while you are flying? Want to be able to accurately know when your pack is about to drop voltage?
The New-&-Improved Hobbyking wireless battery tracker monitors your lipoly via the charge plug and sends back a signal to your reciever. Should one of your cells drop below 3.6v the LED for that cell will turn Red. Once the cell drops below 3v the LED will flash and the warning buzzer will beep, signaling you to land as soon as possible. This unit is also a great way to find those batteries that drop voltage greatly under load.
The transmitter operates on 868.0Mhz FM band and can monitor 2S to 6S batteries.
Spec. Transmitter Weight: 7g Receiver Weight: 35g (this is the part you keep in your pocket) Signal distance: Around 300-400mtr
Battery: 7.4V/ 2 Cell (Included)
Usage; Ensure the hand-held receiver is turned on and you have selected the number of cells first. Once this is done, then connect the transmitter inside the plane to the batteries balance plug. If you do not do it in this order, the reading will be incorrect.
You must open th battery tracker. I have one of it and what i have done is plug a lipo 200ma out of it adn i charge the lipo, It´s most durable and easy to charge
Defaults always to 2S, needs manual setting for more cells each time you switch it on.

20 thumbs up!
Finally, I must admit 2 things : - My model seems to be lightly different... Not sure the voltage for the beep is the same... But sure it can't be adjusted ! Definitively not usefull with heli, I think... - I use it a lot with planes ! Sure it beep each time I go full throttle, but when it begin to beep at half throttle with my AcroMaster, I know it's time to land... And always nothing found better to know with planes...
Is very usefully! Better for helicopter users because the coverage range is limited. Notify you the battery state of each cell from 2-6 clell with light and sound. Cams with a small 2S small lipo, around 400 mAh. The lenght of the battery is enough for a few days.

This works reasonably well but only in close range. Beeper comes on at 3.7v which is a bit too early but does tell you when your batteries are getting a bit tired/old.

At least it works. So I gave this product 3 stars. But the quality is EXTREMELY poor. The marking on the transmitter was wrong, so I mixed polarity. Surprisingly, the transmitter haven't burnt out. The receiver didn't want to work in "on" position. It turned on at the half way of the switch and stayed on only at this position. The 3'rd cell lamp didn't work. I tested it with 3-cell LiPo, and apart from the troubles I wrote about, it worked OK. Haven't tried it in the air yet, so I can say nothing about the distance.
