Does anyone know how many Watts this motor is?

Will these motors run with any ESC or just the EZ ones?
   Yash91 (77%)
They will run with any ESC as long as it supports brushless sensorless motors.

One more thing about the ez-run motors.
There are 3 series for 1/10 scale.
The one sold here is the cheapest but the cooling fins actually makes both the coil and anchor diameter smaller, and that means less torque than the other two series which have no fins, these motors cost like 50-80usd
the more expensive ones have a timing sensor wich works together with ez pro esc, and the are expensive, the 60a sensored combo kit cost like 120usd and higher.
Best setup i have found (and cheapest)is turnigy 2600 and ez-run 60 esc.
My friends have this setup and we have raced more than a hundred hours with this setup.
I still think the the Hobbywing EZ-series is the savior for us budget- racers.
The prices for Novak, Quark and so on are absurd.
With this hobbycity setup i can do controlled wheelies the hole homesstraight

I have tested a number of these ez-run motor and i have burned the all, if you use lipobatteries (i use 3s 30-35c 2800mah or bigger)
my fried used a ez 9t and it burned with 2 lipos.
the lipo will give so many amps the motor will overheat, i think that a heatsink with a fan can solve this problem.
I have converted a HSP warhead2 buggy to electric drive and i warmely recommend Turnigy B36-56-04 2600kv Inrunner sold on Hobbycity (this website)
with 2s high cap lipos it's enuogh, with 3 s it's beyond nitro, dont forget to modify the fan on the esc (buy a7809) regulator and install, did this to all my ez-run esc's
It has a 5mm axle and you can buy 5mm module 1 pinon gears from e-bay in hardened steel (the most common pitch module is module 1 so then you only have to fit the motor).
this motor works with 35a ezrun esc but there is no margin for error, i use 60a ezrun it's more reliable and dont forget the heatsink and fan.
I have 5 turnigys 2600 now one was burned due to no heatsink and fan, the others are indestructable.
Make sure top speed is between 60-70kmh or you will blow up the battery or the esc.
my warhed does over 100km but the powerdraw is 80 amps on tarmac, for dirt i will change pinion gear and the current will be max 70amp.
please calculate the gear right or stuff will break (i have abox with toasted escs and motors)

I would imagine you could fry any motor if the lipo is big enough to supply the amps. I always check temps of everything after installing a new setup without knowing what my gearing should be. I recently received the 13t version and am very pleased. I run it in a T4 geared at 12.57:1 powered by 2S lipos. This gives me about 1 hour and 30 minutes runtime and it's pretty torquey. Temps of the motor after about an hour of continuous running on dirt are less than 120 degrees F when outside temp was almost 90 degrees.
I'll be buying more!

You shoud use overheat protection!!! The motor stop if its temperature is over 90 degrees

Alfredo (67%)
I´m converting my Tamiya Nitro Crusher to brushless, do you think this is a good engine for it? what esc do you recomend. Thanks in advance.
   Futaba (94%)
ESC 35A or 60A
I think this motor is good for your Tamiya car

michael (87%)
i have not measured my shaft as its installed in my rc car but all of my 3.175 xray pinions fit it so safe to say its 3.175

mcudnic (67%)
you need to check your specs!!!
Is the axle diameter really 3.715 mm?
Then it wont fit in any car!!???
Unless you drill out the gear??
Please change spec if incorrect or i wont buy this motor
   Deryn (92%)
I think it is a typo. The EZ-RUN motors should have a 3.175mm shaft.
