it is 36mm in diameter including the fins. the motor, not including the shaft is 50mm long. it only has a 380 sized rotor, but it runs cool and is great for 1/10 electric rc cars. i am buying this motor tonight for my rustler vxl. the stock motor now has a dent in it due to jumping the truck at 50mph.

mah's meaning battery capacity? Well as big as you want, as long as you don't go over 3 cell lipoly or over 10 cells nimh.

It's an inrunner, so i would put a 3S on it...no more.
With a 4.5, 4.75 inches diameter prop, and 4 to 4.5 inches pitch, you should play with the limit of your esc...but i donno if the motor will take that amount of power.
With those kinds of KV, there's very little margin to play with.

You will need a car only ESC if you want to use it with a car. Do not try to use a plane ESC!

They do not stock pinions. They are commonly found in your local hobby store however.
