It says the shaft is 3.175mm, I didnt think about it until I ordered the motor. There can I find a pinion gear that fits? If you know, please let me in, I can't find one. Thank you.

3.175mm is a standard rc car pinion shaft size it's 4mm and 5mm that are harder to find. Without knowing what car/truck you have or pitch of the gears your not going to get an answer, other than the pinion thats on your stock motor or search for replacment parts for your car. if it's a Tamiya your prety much stuck with Tamiya because they are metric pitch. If it's another brand with slotted motor mounts you'll have more choices but you'll have to take the motors kv rating, voltage of bateries, the motor and escs current capacity, cars weight and overall gear ratio into the equation or you'll smoke somthing or be slower than stock.

Simply put if you are gonn try and put this in an all aluminum E-maxx and gear it for 100mph all your gonna do is let the magic smoke out. As far as i know the a stock brushed 540 has a kv of about 2300 so in a lighter 10th scale car on stickpacks this should give you about 4000 more rpms unloaded. With the same gears as stock you'll have similar aceleration and a higher top speed, you could gear down (less pinion teeth) and gain torque and runtime with stock top speed, you could find a middle ground and gain some top speed and torque, or go outside that and run the risk of smoking somthing (gear too high) or being slower with good runtime (gear too low).

Hi there if you look at the number on of the motor it says 3650-13T so its fair to say that its a 540 size :)

I agree with dooky. AFAIK, EZ-Run's true 540 are the one with *.5 series like 5.5T - 13.5T which is a more expensive (and harder to find)

Hi
Searching the web suggests the motor to be suitable for 1/10 trucks.
Is this motor 540 compatible?

Dooky is right this is 380 sized bell inside, they added aluminum ribs, so it feels like real 540 sized motor.
