When the shaft breaks, we will lose the small spacer washer and the PTFE washer (If used) that is under the c-clip.
I think HK should include this as one of the items in the accessories.

I like this "style" of motors, I found them running smoothly and efficient, however, I miss data about them.
Please, write "No load current" at any voltage. It is very important for certain applications.
TIA

I have had the winding post loosen from the base and then the motor can wobble. I have tried dropping some CA where the post meets the base. Not sure how long this will last.

I use this on my Quadrocopter and I get this problem too after a major crash.
As the winding post also holds the shaft to the base, it would be impossible/dangerous to run the motor again if it's not secured.
I will remove the winding post, that comes out together with the bearing. I will clean the bearing and also the base. Then I will apply some steel filled epoxy (I have tried quik-cure epoxy too but it's not strong enough* comes out after a minor crash) and push in the parts together. Wait a day and the motor will be as good as new.

is the shaft revesable? meaning can I reverse the shaft so I can mount the prop on the other end?

Don't know if it is reversible shaft, but I use the included propsaver (or collet adapter) if I want the prop on the "shaft" side, and the included threaded, screw mounted "reverse" prop adapter if I want prop on "bell side". Only downside is that you loose ablity to use propsaver is you fit the motor "backwards".

Yes, the shaft is reversable. I tried on the smaller 2205, so it must be the same.

I've tried to reverse the shaft but no luck.. you need to slit a tiny gap at near to tip of shaft so that the C clip can fit in and hold motor together. I think It's hard to machining because it's a hardened steel shaft. If you can find a way to reverse the shaft please write here.
by the way this is really perfect motor. Using it with 11x4.7 sf propeller with 3s lipo. I Did'nt measured but I thik It pulls about 1000gr-1300gr! After 10 minute full throttle at the bench motor did'nt even get warm. Only thing with motor when you throttling, if you decrease throttle sometimes it makes a quiet clicking noise. I don't know why and where the sound comes from but it does'nt effect motor, it works perfect.

Normally you have a pair of holes of 16mm diameter and a pair of 19mm diameter at motors of this size. Tjhis is to fit the mounting holes of the old 400 and 600 sized brushed motors.
