It has standard plug that fits any brand of receivers: Futaba, JR, Hitec, Spectrum(standard size, not micro JST ones).
I think they are modelled on JR plugs. To reassure you - they will fit into any normal receiver.

Hi guys, what connectors do you use for these size of esc's? connect it to a turnigy 2205/1500kv which comes with 3.5mm bullets. find those a bit big... and on battery side? i mean it's 20awg which fits nicely into the jst which are also on the battery side but they are rated only up to 3A. Is there anything good between 3.5mm bullet and jst?

The easiest and the lightest way is to solder cables. On battery side I use JST plugs, available here. They take 8-10Amps easily.

Between ESC and motor is always the best to solder...
I do not know, where you found out, that JST are rated only to 3A. If they really are, then they could handle a lot more. Mine do handle 7A constantly.

I fly all my indoor foamies, including those mean 3D ones with 12A draw with custom soldered lipos for couple of years now using typical servo plugs and pin arrays as batt/esc connection - no issues at all. Some tell a lot of BS about heating, losses etc, I just fly them hard... :D So, I guess anything will do. The question is how "purist" you are. Here on HK in Wire/plug section are some good two pole prewired conectors[*******unitedhobbies****/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=9700&Product_Name=2_PIN_connector_Male/Female_8cm_each._%285pairs/bag%29]. For the motor/esc - I just solder motor wires directly to ESC. I mean, if you dislike the 3,5mm bullets for being heavy - just ditch them! and wires from the esc too, if motor is close enough.

2 mm gold plug will do fine, or mini T plug (I still had some left) not sure about the very small 0.8 mm gold plugg also available here at HC.

Hmm,
What is the warranty on these controllers. I had one out of the bag literally catch fire. I was kinda shocked. Never had a speed control do that before, especially one new out of the bag. I do understand that every so often there is a bad one. I have other stuff from hobby king and have had good luck with all of it.

Is this BEC 2A for sure?
Turnigy ESC's are HobbyWing ESC's. Same model numbers, same version numbers, etc.
But the HobbyWing 10A is only 1A ESC.

The BEC only reduces voltate and doesn't increase it so from 1S it won't be able to reduce and get to the minimal voltage needed to run your servos.

I damaged my 10 A turnigy plush controller due to wrong connecting of the programming card. At first I connectec BEC of Controller to programming card then I connected battery to Batt on programming card. Smoke and a spark from the controller was the answer. I think a diode or something like that was burnt but I am not sure. Is it possible to repair this controller by putting in a new diode or whatever it is? Can anyone give me a repair instruction.

It would be far easier to buy a new one. At 13 odd dollars new, it works out much cheaper time wise to just replace it.
I actually powered up with reverse polarity by accident bench testing mine once and it got real hot but no smoke and still works fine. It's a tough little unit.

No, I would think it comes as all other turnigy escs, without any plugs. As different turnigy motors are supplied with different plugs, it would not be very practical to supply the esc with "wrong" plugs.

Turnigy motors come with the extra plugs for the speed control. The speed control will also need your style of battery connectors........... The futuba universal plug is included for your receiver

Hello! Could you tell me if there's any problem with this controller if I shorten the wires to the motor /Turnigy 2204-14T/, battery and receiver? I suppose there won't be any problem if I shorten them to the battery and receiver, but I am not sure about the leads to the motor.

If you short the output, the ESC will short and burn. If you short the input, the battery will short and may burn/explode.

And now I saw shortEN. No problem in shortening the leads (making the wires shorter). You should only be carefull if extending them, it may lead to heat and/or radio interference.

Thanks for your answer, Sander. I referred to the post of Jim Owens who wrote: "The leads from the ESC must be at least 2 5/8" or the motor will have hard starts. This is not a fault of the motor or ESC, the lead length is an important part of the ESC function." I'll be using the ESC for a F3P plane so most probably I'll shorten the wires to the motor, RX and battery, leaving about 6-7cm lead ESC-motor including the motor wires. Thanks again.

some escs come with connectors straight on the board and I have lengthened my motor leads considerably with no effect. The motor side is not that critical as long as they a close to the same length. Shortening the battery leads is fine just don't lengthen them much.

I have no less than a dozen of these, and no problems yet. I use 2mm bullet connectors on all of my motors(mostly 1300 to 30000 kv, and no problems yet. I use to solder them, but I use a custom motor mount for quick change, and makes for convenience. Happy flying.
