These are some good servos for their price! I have purchased 4 of them. They are doing well!! The only thing they draw too much current, I use an old PSU (from a broken computer) to feed them 5V and 2A which I find weird for 4 servos. I am building an Arduino robot arm, and I am almost done!

For those of you that have ordered these servos, and they were DOA or have died while using them, if you have not sent them bqack to HK, 'cause the cost is prohibitive, I need 6 (six) servos to place in a display model. They do not have to be working servos, actually I prefer them to be dead. If you can help me out, please post here, or e-mail me at: jonathan(dot)ott*us(dot)army(dot)mil

Thanks!

14 thumbs up!
These are a pretty good standard servo (for the money) but be aware that if you use them in a nitro-powered model, they will eventually fail due to vibration. There is a large capacitor which is held in place only by its wires and vibration causes those wires to break. For this reason they only get three stars. The full review will appear on RCModelReviews.com in the upcoming servo-shootout article.

11 thumbs up!
Well i bechtested 2 of them before i installed tham as aileronservos in a .40 trainer.

They have visible low resolution compared to expensive servos,BUT in the air this wasnt noticeable at all.

They are altso stronger than 2.5Kg, the box says 3.2Kg and i havo no doubts about that being the case rather than 2.5Kgs.

A good servo for planes in .40 size but i only give 4stars due do low resolution.

10 thumbs up!
I bought 6 of these and am very happy with them so far.
They are very quiet and center perfectly.
They dont come with the rubber grommet's but if you have been in this hobby a few year's you have plenty anyway.
I think they are perfect for 40 size planes.
I dont know about bigger planes yet but I will try them out sometime.

5 thumbs up!
I use four of these on a 40 sized glow powered 300s. Even works great on the pull-pull rudder.
