The Domin-8-Trix has the highest build quality, offering a combination of strength, ultra lightness and precision as only balsa can. The attractive colour scheme is finished in top quality and expertly applied covering, leaving you to simply apply the decals. The supplied hardware, which is more than up to the job of handling extreme 3D Maneuvers, is first class. The cowl and spats are glassfiber with an excellent deep gloss finish. The Domin-8-Trix is as practical as you would expect and features plug in wings and a large canopy which is secured by a proper latch, this fantastic looking model just screams quality.
This model is a looker for sure but performance is really what the Domin-8-Trix is about, the amazingly light flying weight and large control surfaces combine to give precise control, allowing the 3D pilot to really push the limits and with the right power train, the Domin-8-Trix will have unlimited vertical. This is one Domin-8-Trix that won't punish you or your flying, YOU are in control!

I'm pleased with this model. Made three test flights so far. Build was a walk in the park; Very nice finish, and all Turnigy accessories fit like a glove.
Only faulty thing was one wheel axle flange got loose tightening the nut holding the wheel assembly. (This flange separates the strut and wheel/wheelpants assembly) This flange is not lathed out of the axle, as it looks like. It's just pressed onto the axle and can't stand that much pressure from the fastening nut. Just replaced with straight bolt and no wheel pants.
Regarding wing and enpennage: Watch out for loosening "hinges", as the CA have a hard time penetrating deep enough via the covering plastic. Consider Epoxy. I've just driven tooth picks through the flying surfaces/movable rudder and the hinge to secure. During taxiing the rudder came loose initially, probably due to that the tail wheel is directly connected to the wooden rudder and yanks it around if taxiing on a rough grass field like mine :)
It's extremely responsive in pitch, flies really slow with good control with my light setup below. Draws 35-39 A at full power. 40pcnt "flapperon" makes it a real slow flyer on tight finals for landing. Totally crazy aerobatic control, love it!!! (I need lots of more practice tho... :) )
