i fly a bixler glider would this be to hard to fly?
 smartmarty 11 points
Hard? Possibly, but that depends on your previous experience with non powered gliders, but I'd say harder than the Bixler if you're a novice. I've yet to fly mine, but I'm led to believe that you have to keep her moving at a decent pace for the wings to work, and prevent a stall. No dawdling and relying on a motor to bail you out either. Mine is replacing an unpowered ST Model Fox, which has survived a couple of years of my flying, but this could be a different ball game.

Why are the prices in dollars even though the kits are UK stock? Does this mean I still have to pay extra for customs duty?
 ____ro 9 points
hi you can change the prices to GBP - to do this look at the left had side of the screen - look for the PayPal sign - look down you will see a field to change from USD to GBP - I find it best to do this after I have logged in.. todays value is £*70.35 - hope this helps
 smartmarty 11 points
And don't forget that the price will increase once Paypal have done their own little bit of currency converting. I paid a little over 80 quid in total for this, factoring in the 6 quid delivery charge. 68 6 doesn't add up to 80 in my book. Use a debit/credit card and you pay a surcharge, use PP and you pay something that looks like a surcharge, but isn't.... Is it? All the same it still looks like reasonably good value (I was after a Flyfly Fox).

There is very little to do,it is almost ready to fly.Fuselage is complete, wings and tail are complete, you just need to fit servo's and linkages etc.Quality looks really good.

I ordered this model on Sunday evening, and it has just arrived (wed) so very fast delivery. The quality of this glider looks to be first class, it really is the best buy I have ever had in models, so if you are thinking of getting one I would say "order it now" Thank Very Much UK Hobbyking.

Initial findings are quite good. Fin isn't exactly vertical, the wing joiner tube isn't perfectly horizontal, and the flap travel is uneven and insufficient, but the finish is nice. For the price I think it's still good value, but why oh why are there no instructions in the box? I'll post further results once she's been flown.
