More than just a fancy name. Great battery only problem only in stock once every 3 months and only seem to get 10 of them. You would think they would stock more in the USA but NOOO they can get more money making u buy it from China and HIGHER shipping charges!
I am interested in buying this battery for my as yet unpurchased Losi 22 RTR. What is the procedure for connecting the wires to the battery itself? I understand that I will have to add my own connector (in this case an EC3 to mate up with the EC3 on the Losi 22), but I am unclear what needs to be done on the other end. The picture shows just banana plugs and then corresponding holes on the battery. Do I need to tape over these connections once the banana plugs are fitted in?
I have some of these batteries that are missing roar stickers. I will be traveling to canada for a major race will the new ones i am ordering come with stickers this time!!!
I would expect if they are described as roar approved the stickers would be affixed to the battery. Upon checking the 2013 roar approved list this battery is not on it.
So i bought this battery for my Traxxas Rustler VXL and they really surprised me. So much power throughout the whole run time it's popping wheelies all the way up to full speed dont know how it will last for the full life of the battery though :/ if anyone knows how well they hold up after alot of runs let me know please
If you are going to run this as a Dual Lipo setup, which will give you appx 16 VDC in series (Avg 4 VDC per cell). These batteries can provide 348 Amps in short bursts, and a continuous current of 174 Amps. This should be wayyyy more than enough to handle any application for your RC8B.
I am building an AE RC8B electric conversion that i am putting the Tekin RX8 and T8 combo in. I want to make sure these batteries won't fry my ESC (Needs good enough C-ratings while breaking).
I bought these batteries for my savage flux hp and my savage xs it fit with both of my rc it has plenty of power to do wheelies on command.

I bought 2 of these batteries for my e-maxx and they fit perfect. Both batteries balance great and I get about 1 hour of run time. This is by far the best battery I have ever bought.

Great value for the money. I run these in a Losi XXX-4 and my Associated TC4. The Losi has a 7000kv Sidewinder in it and the battery barely gets above air temperature. Charging them at 2C the battery never gets above 70F. I'll getting more of these.

Great batteries, I run them in Slash 2wd, 4wd and Rustler. Plenty of power and can run all night without charging.
Very nice batteries. wired ends of the connectors were already tinned with solder and fit perfectly into my EC3 connectors. Came about half charged, and is capable of charge rates of 5C. So far I am loving this battery. Broke my trucks before batteries died. I did also sticky tape LV alarms onto these as a safe guard. Highly recommend.
